I'd guess that at least half the big crowd were confident he would make it. A couple yellows helped and it was the local NOSA cars from MN, Manitoba and North Dakota in attendance. Oh yeah, and Dusty Zomer in the BWW #82. Love the new colors of the BWW car. He's made a lot of money this year in his travels and the $8200 Friday night didn't hurt. Running the family sprinter and not having to split the dough with an owner a good move this year. Also, I was there and not crazy about having five classes and 205 race cars. And five classes, that's nothing, if you look at Buffalo River Speedway schedule in Glyndon, MN about 8 miles from Fargo, ND, for the CornCob Nationals next weekend, you'll see the biggest number of classes running ever IMHO. Nine classes of cars both nights is a little to many. They didn't read Kenny Schrader's rules for promoting dirt races: 1. start on time 2. no more than 3 classes, 4 acceptable, and #3. Get done in no more than 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
Here are the classes each night at Buffalo River Speedway next weekend and I've never heard of a couple of them: IMCA Mods, IMCA Sport Mods, Lightning sprints, legends, Sport Compacts, Trophy cars, Hobby Stocks, Slingshots, and street stocks.
Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

That was the BWW Nationals car from 2016. As far as why there were not more heavy hitters at River Cities....I would guess other than the back row challenge money, the rest of the purse for 410's was the same or close to a normal friday night show. Not really worth the tow for a chance to win from the back. Now if River Cities would have a $5000 to win, $500 to start the A main for a special show, then you would see more big names show up.

Actually, he does have a car owner. It's Ryan & Jennie Grinde.

Many years ago Sammy and Kevin Swindell came up there for a regular show , so if Zomer had won it would have been a wash ?
