If the race at texarkana is any sign, the 5000 should be exciting, the 1b franks started on the pole and led about 40 laps with the 36j whitehead and the 8 ? all over him. the 53 burk, started 22 and was involved in a red flag then pitted and restarted 21st with the whole right side missing, he caught the leaders with about 10 to go and they put on a great 4 way battle for the lead with the 8 car beating Burk by about 2 foot, with Franks3rd and Whitehead 4th. The track got some much needed rain today but it's all but gone from western Louisiana now. Tomorrow warm & breezy which means things will be in great shape for practice Thursday night.

Thanks to "The Texan" who posted the following on Hook's forum, I know now who won that $3000 in Texarkana last Saturday.

Last night of the 2007 season at Ark-La-Tex! $5000 up for grabs and it'll be one whale of a Factory Stock race. You too Sport Mods! It's going to seem like a long winter for everybody so come on out fans! Say hi to Terry Davis if you see him tonight. Heard he's coming in for this one. That's just awesome!!!!
Let's close out the season with a bang in Vivian!!!
