I have been watching the Kokomo highlights.....Of all the guys who call races, I love this guy. He is so entertaining to listen to....better than many who just shout to try and make it sound exciting. Is this the same guy who did the NSL races?

That announcer works for Speedshift not Kokomo or USAC.

Made me go surfing but yup nice vocabulary to keep you in it. Question... When does he breathe? Maybe they limit the races to 30 laps so he doesn't pass out.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

I like em and like their product. Purchased several shows over the past couple years.
Only thing I don't like is all the social media stuff. Blah blah from blah blah watching. Talk about the track, cars, drivers. I watch and go to races to get away from all this crap (Social Media)

Thank you for the kind words! I realize my style is not for everyone but it's nice to hear there are those who enjoy it. As long as we're all having fun, right?
In regards to breathing, I grew up in the auction business, which I believe is where I inherited the rapid fire method I use. My mentor, Toby Kruse, had to teach me to slow down when announcing big asphalt races and races with a slower pace. That was tough! Lol
In regards to pushing the social media, I understand that may be a bit much if you're not into that type thing but alas, our entire business is social media based so it's important that we interact with the fans during our broadcast. Just tough it out through those periods and I promise you, you'll get to see some phenomenal racing!
Again, thank you for the kind words! It's nice to hear...

Hi Chet. As you well know I watch Speed Shift TV as often as I can, subject to the time differences between where you are and Sydney, Australia, where I am. And I love the shout outs ....
In my mind your style of commentary "makes the show" you might say. Crisp, clear and virtually mistake free given the number of new cars and drivers you must encounter as you criss cross the country chasin' racin' for those who can't be there.
Kudos to you, Darren and Toby for establishing the best internet stream available out of the US.

I agree. Chet's delivery is excellent, he's very entertaining and his voice is pleasant to my ears. I really enjoy his work and think he's one of the best in the business.
