Just looking for opinions from people that have rented rooms from Knoxville residents over the years. Just got back from my first Nationals for Friday and Saturday. Would like to do the 4 days next year. Just wondering if the cost you have paid is comparable to a hotel room or way more expensive.

I've stayed in two different Knoxville homes over the last 15 years and have thoroughly enjoyed it.
Price can vary quite a bit since the accommodations can vary, like sharing or having your own room and sharing or having your own bathroom. Some places also offer more living space, like an entire basement. I think most of the prices are less than a hotel, especially when you figure travel cost since almost all of them are out-of-town.

I found a new crib this year. Own bedroom, shared bathroom with shower.storage room for coolers in garage. Electrical charge for golf cart. $50 per night. Me like. Knoxville chamber of commerce can hook you up.
