Racing is a culture unto itself and it's not for everyone. For that reason, it seems that a love of racing is handed down from generation to generation. With this in mind, who are the top sprint car families? Family members can be drivers, mechanics, promoters, track / series owners etc
Kinsers
Swindells
Haudeschilds
Jacobs
Rahmers
Madsens
Who am I missing?

Up in my neck of the woods we couldnt have this conversation without putting the Kouba family near the top of the list. Their leagacy started in the 30s and continues to this day with four family members competing in the UMSS Traditional Sprint Car division. Anna Kouba Hippe won her first Sprint Car Feature recently and it was a big one. The 25th annual Kouba Memorial race. The place went crazy that night.

Up here in North Dakota, besides the already mentioned Schatz and Mack families, I would add the Kennedy family to it also.

The Lynch family for sure. Ed Sr was a great driver in the 60s and 70s in Sprints (27 wins) and modifieds (113 wins). His wife Jean is in the national sprint car hall of fame. Their son Ed jr is a future HOF member, and now his song Sye is getting going in the 410s and has had some nice runs.

Dont mention DD with TSR making the Ford deal look like putting an elephant on Mars. He built winning 410 Fords in his lawn mower shop.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

how about the TOBIAS's- Toby could do it all--- and what about the Browns? Davey Sr. and Davey Jr- they could make a sprint car go. No better mechanic than Davey Brown Sr. and hes still at it in his 80's with Lance.

I have another one: what about the Smiths? as in the Speedway Motors smiths. It started with Speedy Bill Smith (Bill Smith). He and his wife started Speedway Motors and as far as I know his sons still run the business today. I am sure everyone knows about the iconic 4x speedway motors sprint car that they fielded through the years with famous drivers like lloyd beckman, jan opperman, and doug wolfgang. I think they made a big impact to the racing world.
