Eight events have been completed thus far this season with Jake Martens still sitting atop the current SSO point standings over defending tour champion Andy Shouse despite not having reached victory lane.

Shouse leads the way with three victories on the season while Joe Wood, Jr. has won two. Also reaching victory lane this season are Chad Koch, Todd Schwartz and Michael Day.

When the tour made their inaugural visit to Elk City Speedway back on May 13, Shouse picked up the victory over a nineteen-car field. Tristan Oakes had his best finish of the season (second) while Blake Dacus, Koch and Steven Shebester rounded out the top five.

The above-mentioned drivers are expected this weekend as well as series regulars Loyd Clevenger, Shayla Waddell, Blake Scott, Mike Scott and Jerry Jumper.

Showing the future is bright for 305-ci in the state of Oklahoma, a strong cast of rookie contenders are also expected.

They include Justin Fisk, Dillon Laden, Josh Toho, Brandon Anderson, Tanner Conn, Chase Smith and Cody Jarvis.

Gates will open at 6:00 PM with race action slated for a 8:00 PM start time.  Grandstand admission is just $12 for adults ages 13 and up; $8 for all seniors and military personnel; $5 for ages 6-12 while children 5 and under will be admitted into the grandstands for free.
