The last time he raced at Knoxville was 2011.

Count me in! The 360 class at Knoxville this year is no slouch so he'll have some good competition to race against.

be interesting for him for sure.  WIth the new structure this year of points for TT, points for heats and line-ups determined by points, the locals race hard every lap on the track (which will help them come 360 Nationals time) and don't give an inch to anyone.

Hopefully Tony does good enough that it convinces him to come back for the 360 Nationals to compete.

I agree in that the new point structure should help locals come 360 Nats time and sounds like makes weekly racing competitive and hard.

Hey Vande did I see a mention somewhere of Garner and Moro's crews getting into a shouting match last week?  Just hard racing deal?  Not trying to start/spread rumors, just curious as my guess is it was simply heat of the moment stuff as both seem to be real good dudes.

I saw a shoving match in the tech area after Garner turned into victory lane between someone in a Casey's Crew Shirt and someone else, but no idea what it was about.

Garner and Moro never were really around each other during the race as I recall.

Racetrack called security to the area and it subsided as quickly as it arose from what I could see in Section H.

Start at 1:35 in the video and just at 1:41 you can clearly see Moro trying to cut off Garner's momentum from the outside. The right rear of Moro hits Garners right front pretty hard. I honestly couldn't believe it didn't break anything in Garner's car. Pretty sure this is what led to the pushing/shoving/shouting match just beyond the scales. Not sure anyone was in the right or wrong. Dirty? IDK people chop off speed down the straight all the time.

Yup that was what caused the shoving match. Weird though because it was Moro's team that was the most upset, so Gardner's crew must've said something to the Moro bunch. Gardner even said in victory lane he didn't mind it and they should be racing eachother hard. It was more the crew members angry rather than the drivers

It seems like 50% of crew guys go to the race track with the mentality of "I'm either going to fight or F~*k tonight, it's getting late and there aint no ladies looking at me!" and wind up getting in a fight over nothing. Anyone else notice that?

Thanks devan. Not sure what Moro was doing when he chopped Garner, but eh, that's racing.  And if Clint didn't have a problem with it (as he indicated in VL as you said) than why should we. I kind of figured the shoving match wasn't directly brought on by Clint (or Matt) but instead the crew members.

Looked like 2 of the best 360 drivers at knoxville racing hard for the lead. I'd put Moro at fault if anyone but I think they were both racing hard for the lead, Garner didnt seem to bothered about it either.

You must have been one of them crew guys that didnt get laid... thanks for proving my point.
