No, Alan Krimes was gaining on him running the bottom. Kyle said in Victory Lane that he has watched videos of Lincoln and knew that is where Krimes, the 2016 Lincoln track champion, liked to run. Watching the first 6 laps, seeing Kyle go from 9th to the lead running the "Monteith" line of rim riding was worth the price of admission. As a Posse fan, what I witnessed last night was very special. Kyle Larson is a exceptional talant no matter what kind of car he is racing. Most fans sitting around me appreciated what they witnessed.

My question is...when is the 57 crew going to miss the setup? Or does that even matter with Kyle Larson driving?

Obviously, the piece provided Kyle is pretty good. That said, it doesn't have to be as good as everyone else's piece. Kinda reminds me of when Jeff Gordon hit the Nascar scene. Just give him a top 10 car and watch it go to victory lane. We have witnessed Kyle driving around Donny Schatz multiple times this year. You don't honestly think that 15 car wasn't as good as the 57, do you? (or the 17)
