Powers Leads NCRA Modified Division to 81 Speedway This Saturday night!
Park City, Kansas – June 28, 2017 - Current series points leader Dan Powers leads the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products modified division to 81 Speedway in Park City this coming Saturday night for the “Summer Classic.”
Powers, a two-time series champion, picked up the victory when the tour last hit the track back on Father’s Day. The Wichita driver holds a slim 25-point advantage over former champion Tyler Davis. Ryan McAninch, Corey Lagroon, Beau Davis and Kyler Kemp are the top five in the standings with Davis and Kemp tied for fifth.
Three events have been held thus far this season with Powers, Davis and Brian Franz all having reached victory lane.
To date, 59 different drivers have competed in at least one event with the average car count forty-one per event.
Gates open at 5:00 PM with race action slated for a 7:00 PM start time. The series sprint car and mod-lite divisions will also be on the race card. Grandstand general admission tickets are just $15 for adults, free for children ages eleven and under when accompanied by an adult. All pit passes are just $30.
81 Speedway is located north of Wichita on I-135 to exit 16, then 0.7 mile west on 77th street in Park City.
