My guess would be he needed to heal up. He hurt his foot during the heat race at
Beaver Dam. Gotta be at 100% for the month of money. But again it is just my guess.

Madsen had a serious issue in the main with his right foot, he stomped it to the floor on lap 1 and didnt lift it till lap 40! 21st to 2nd. There is still passing in WoO Sprintcar racing!

considering he's not following the WoO tour full-time, he can race where and when he chooses (or where and when Guy Forbrook chooses).

Joliet was not on his schedule. I know schedule's change, etc. (especially when you're running a true "outlaw" schedule), but it was not on his schedule to attend Joliet, fwiw.
