Don't usually play this game but:
Pennsylvania guy shows up to wrench the #2 and goes 2 for 2.

I guess it does say something about the team. Lee seems to know how to make a car go fast for a while.

Nothing wrong in taking pride in someone from your area doing good and making a difference! I hope he can keep the #2 rolling towards victories and the podim regardless. We need strong teams to maintain and promote growth in the series not weak and vulnerable teams. Too often when a team is missing something, or not performing to a certain standard, the owner or crew chief suddenly thinks the driver has forgotten how to drive. Funny thing is, after replacing a driver the team usually continues to spiral backwards.

Nobody ever said they didn't produce Crew Chiefs, or Helpers or Car Builders or Supply Parts. Drivers, not so much and the fans are the best and worst in the country, there you go. Just an observation having been there for dozens of shows over the years....

Lee was good for a while with Sweet as well. He's a really good crew chief.

About as well said as I've ever heard it. I will try to remember some of the "best fans" I have met from there rather than the worst. The worst are really bad----the best I've met we're about the nicest you could ever meet.

Eg, the vast majority of them are great fans as passionate as any in the country and I've been coast to coast many times. They love the sport, they love their locals but everone loves their locals. Other than CA over the last few years they have more success than anyone but they also have more 410 racing as well although OH is getting up there. I urge everyone to catch a few shows in PA especially an Outlaw show, the atmosphere is electric. You need to meet some of the guys out near the back pit gate, real characters and real knowledable on top of being real friendly to guests for the most part....

That is why Larson hired him to help him during Speedweek. Just like Kahne used him to win at Lincoln.
Why do you think he is only running Sun-Wed when the Outlaws have off? If you can't beat the Posse, buy one of them.
They don't even know how to spell sprint car
much less chromoly...http://www.ycmco.com

Cubic. I liked that. BUY one of them, that's pretty much what happened you do have to give credit were it is due. Any driver that has been behind Lee's wrenching better be up on the wheel cause he can give you what you need to run up front. Sold me my first injection unit, had to send it back to hilborn and they called wanting to no were i got it from. LOL. Will just leave it at, it wasn't a part number issue. One of the all time best out there.

Are you saying Kyle hired Lee to wrench for him instead of Paul Silva or in addition to Paul during Sun-W of PA Speedweek? Kyle also only ran M-W of OH Speedweek bc Nascar drivers typically travel and arrive for that weekend's race on Thursday for preparations, practice, etc. So it may be a coincidence that's how it worked out with Lee, WoO, etc. as you propose. Or it happened exactly how you're saying.
Either way, if he did specifically hire Lee to help him run during PA Speedweek, so what? He's making a decision to utilize a resource to give him an advantage. That's sports, right? And if he wins how many people will be on here beating their chest that "Kyle can only win in PA with a Posse crew chief," etc. instead of saying "wow Kyle Larson drove the wheels off that thing and Lee did a good job wrenching. They BOTH did a good job."
