Doesn't make much sense. Path Valley is a dump and they draw 44.

Yea, I was disappointed in car count too, guess its more of a modified track. (they were pretty fun to watch, 43 I think)
After 2 straight, I was ready to see some Posse boys beat Larson, but each time they had chance, they wrecked. Hodnett's been slow, but he ran away with his heat, & feature started out with Hodnett & Kyle in an intense duel, till Greg wrecked on Turn 1. Kyle looked unbeatable, pulling away after each restart, but somehow Ryan Smith actually caught & passed him, then he wrecked too. I don't know much about driving a sprint car, but maybe trying too hard & taking chances? Track was real dusty & Kyle said it was slick....
Can anyone stop this guy????

Larson is supposedly racing Sun-Wed of PA Speedweek. Will he fare better this time with the Posse since he isn't able to run the Grove? Come out and attend the weekday shows to find out... https://www.paspeedweeks.com/
|
So, every time a local racer from PA wins against the outlaws, all stars, whoever. Pubicdollars fires up his keyboard in moms basement, downs half a bag of pizza rolls and chicken pecks away at this keyboard. I haven’t seen many posts from him this week. Did mom kick him out? Lose internet privileges? I'm thinking he's busy eating every crow that he could find outside of the trailer park. Congrats to Kyle Larson on winning 6 Sprint car races in row. A huge accomplishment. But, I think the "good" fans on here all owe Kyle an Immense debt of gratitude for finally shutting Pubicdollars up.

Central PA is anything but weak. You probably know from reading my posts that I despise the 1% of Posse chest thumpers who have given us a bad name as much as anyone but you can't say the competition here is weak because it isn't. Yes our guys are average at best when they leave the porch most of the time but on their home tracks, they're very tough which makes Kyle's accomplishments all the more amazing. Ohio has a ton of good racers and he did the same thing out there. I saw 3 people booing Kyle and being assholes. Everyone else was cool and most people were very happy to see him win. The cheers were very loud each and every time he won. What he did in PA this time around was extremely impressive and I hope he makes it back soon. He's a blast to watch. Same goes for Rico as well.

As a long term Posse Fan for over 30 years, I want to personally thank Kyle, Kasey and Rico for spening their time over the last four days racing PA Speedweeks. The atmosphere during the last few days has been sensational, the likes of which I have not seen in a long time. Pa Speedweeks is special, but their presence brought it up to a whole new level. Each night felt like you were at the Knoxville Nationals, the Kings Royal or Williams Grove National Open. As a fan, you knew you were in for a special night when you arrived two hours before the races and could barely find a parking spot. That being said, almost all the fans sitting around me showed nothing but respect for Kyle and knew they were witnessing a very special talant. The Posse fans get a bad rap on this board, but I think the past few days proved how much they appreciate the sport of sprint car racing with the record attendence. It helped make the 27th annual Pa Speedweek something I will soon not forget. It has been a fun couple of days.

Agree 100%.... not just crowded in the parking lot, but finding seats!

Its interesting how different each Pa. track & its crowd is. Grandview is mostly about modifieds, I guess. I didn't hear any cheers for Posse sprinters, lots for Kyle, & some people cheered the loudest when mods came on & replaced sprinters
Also heavy New Joisey influence.... I heard more "F-bombs" from people in the audience, women as well as men, than anywhere else.... unheard of in Iowa, for example

Modifiers are their weekly program, so yeah, that's why so many modified fans are there. Trust me, some get a little bent out of shape about the 410s being there. It's kinda like a late model crowd in that regard, so you'll usually hear the same sort of complaints.
"Cmon, these things take too long to start!"
"(snort) You don't see these things run side by side for laps at a time."
Again, this is a minority of fans, but still.
Well of course Iowans wouldn't curse. It's a home of good old fashioned, God fearing Christian folk. That, and the average age of a race goer there is approximately 83. They are usually tired by 8:15, so they're too tired to curse. You midwesterners know I'm just kidding, right? I highly enjoyed the state and people when I was out there.

Everybody in Iowa seems polite. When they drink, they just talk a bit more
Joisey? fuhgettaboutit!
Lots of the fans said they go to Bridgeport track as a home base...

Yo rev that sounds like a real nice little racing + farm/fishing vaca! Awesome, have fun.
I was going to make a joke that your biggest worry might the Ford Focus, but man those staties in OH can get you good I'd still worry about the Focus most

Caught 3 decent largemouth, one little one
Had a BIG one hooked but he went down in the weeds & got away (you could tell he was fat when he jumped!)
I'm not that good a fisherman, only do it in memory of my late Father, who loved it.... & when my friend said an Amish guy pulled a 6 pounder out of her pond... I like easy!
Grabbed a reel & rod out of my old man's stash.... think I picked the wrong reel cause it was barely functioning on that big one...ultra light?
Gas City, Indiana tomorrow!

Was it GT55 (or something like that) who said Attica was his home track?
Do you fish? Got any decent equipment? This pond is an hour East of Attica, has potential.... get bites right away, first cast.
I bet I can invite you next time I'm here....

Hats off. Kyle Larson is definitely a beast on the bullrings, especially ones with a curb. Packed the stands for our promoters, sold a ton of t-shirts and stayed after to sign autographs even though a few people complained (be careful, guys like him and Kahne don't have to come at all, they are here for fun). Seemed like a super nice guy. Hopefully the Grove is on his bucket list in the not to distant future, so he can prove us wrong once and for all, that he was not "Just lucky he wasn't running the Grove"...lol. The Grove is a tough nut to crack though. Always has been. Always will be. Better put Stauffer to work. Congrats.
They don't even know how to spell sprint car
