Don't have the scoop on Blaney. Seems odd he doesn't have a ride for the full speedweek. Saw on twitter that Veal will be in Calif starting I think this weekend. Jmac will be at the Grove (weather permitting) and Port this weekend.

Veal was in Brent Kaeding's 69 last weekend and finished on the podium at a KWS race. According to Twitter he'll be in the ride this weekend as well. I asked about JMac in another thread. Saw Pat Cannon mention on Twitter he was to fly in this week and will be at WG to start PA Speedweek.

Sounds like Dale has parted ways with the 11n already.

Looks like Blaney split with Linders / 11n OH ride. They didn't seem to mesh well and weren't particularly fast. Then again it was only a few races.

with the timing of Dale parting ways, makes me wonder if he will be the new Driver of the 17 car?

Nah, I don't think Dale wants to be on the WoO Tour. If he did he would've been the last few years when he was dominating All Stars. Then again part of the reason he stayed with All Stars was his daughter was in high school (she's in college now). I think he's fine with the Zemco ride and I believe they'll hit some of the big shows coming up too (Silver Cup, Nats, Tuscarora 50). No doubt Dale wanted to have a part time ride in OH too as his Zemco schedule is not quite as busy as he's used to maybe, but things with the 11n just didn't work out. There may be another factor or two he's happy to be in PA.

You are right on with Dale in regards to Leah and High School. But I do remember him saying he wouldn’t mind taking another shot at the WoO tour when she was in college. Now he may very well have changed his mind.
It doesn’t seem the results for PA and Ohio match up. It seems to me… Dale is running as well as can be expected in PA considering this is his 1st real go at the weekly stuff, with a new team. At Attica a few weeks ago (FAST/OSCS) I did not know he was in the car, that is how bad it looked. I am sure everyone on the 11n put out maximum effort, it just did not work out.
I am with you, there may be another factor or two involved. I don’t think he forgot how to drive.

Dale mentioned on our PA Sprint Car Live show at the beginning of the year that he wasn;t out looking for a WoO ride, but if the stars aligned right and it basically too good of a deal to turn down, he'd consider it. From my understanding on the 11N deal, they had some disagreemetns on shocks, set-ups and such and they just decided to part ways. They;ve been very consistent in PA with the Zemco car though.

I think a thing with the 11n too was Christopher Bell and Craig Mintz both performed much better in that car while Blaney was in PA. Mintz went to a podium finish in his first and only race this year in an all star show. Bell also won a 360 show in the 11n too.

I was impressed with Mintz, great race
My first visit to Attica, thought it was very racy & fun!
I'll be back, have a friend about an hour away with spare room & bass pond....

Well that works out perfect. Mintz has been one of the top locals for a while but took a step back this year. Had great success in the 09 car over the years.

Mintz will be in the 11N at Atomic Saturday. On a seperate note, Kevin Thomas Jr will be racing the INDY 71 car at Atomic tomorrow as well.

I'm sure Dale already misses George and has missed him since the second he passed. Those two were a lethal combo and were extremely close off the track. George was one of a kind.
