This is on the BDS Motorsports Facebook page:
IMMEDIATE OPENING
Effective immediately, BDS Motorsports is looking for a driver to finish out the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Series season. Interested parties should contact Bryan Sundby as soon as possible. Racing resumes this week.
BDS would like to thank Justin for several successful seasons behind the wheel of the BDS #1. We wish him and his family all the best in the future.

I don't remember how the relationship was when he left the bww car, but could that be the reason he left the Sundby car? Could be a good combination at Knoxville.

Cap Henry has been doing fine in the BWW car, from talking to him on another forum I don't expect him to be leaving the BWW car anytime soon. Bad situation for Henderson though. Hope he lands on his feet!

Henry left the BWW car already. I believe he said he didn't care for the travel anymore. BWW issued a press release.

I was on social media this morning cause I haven't seen Justin's name in a while, curious to see if there was any news.
I believe this was rumored a few weeks ago. Maybe with a little one and a business he didn't like the travel as much. Justin's an underrated talent (despite a poor year last year at Nats). Def a top notch shoe. Was it two years ago he came out to PA to run a few shows late in the year for Kreitz and finished them all podium/Top 5?

Why this team didn't stick around Knoxville and continue to win a ton of races amazes me....

Zomer is only temporary, I would guess Justin back to BWW for second stint. Might work, might not.

I've kind of speculated that there was some choice words said between Knoxville/Henderson/BDS from the decision to leave a front row starting spot in the 360 Nats to go race at Husets. He then had a rough qualifying night in the 410 Nats and decided against running the Friday show.
When the ASCS decision was made, it just didnt make a lot of sense, the car use to never even travel to local Outlaw shows. It will be interesting to see who jumps in the car since they want to finish the ASCS schedule.

I really believe he would have won the 360 Nationals last year. Instead he didn't do anything up at Husets on Saturday if I remember correctly. $15,000 decision more/less and the title.

I didn't see the press release. Doi! Apologize for the misinformation. Honestly though I've never been able to find the 82 teams social media ever so have always found it difficult to follow them. Not really sure what to search for.

Here's Henderson's statement:
As of now do to the lack of time that I need for my business and family, I am unable to travel with BDS Motorsports for the remainder of the season.
I want to thank BDS Motorsports for everything they have done the past four years both professionally and personally. Bryan and Dave Sundby have always done their best to give me every opportunity to win, and have always treated us like family.
BDS Motorsports knows that surrounding yourself with good people is important in order to be successful. I want to personally thank Jimmy, Tammi, Tristan, Carl, Jane, Jeff, Randy Ray, and Stephaine for all of your hard work and dedication to the team. Also, thank you to the people closest to me; Buck, Goose, Stacy, my dad, my loving wife, and my baby boy for supporting everything that I do.
We wish BDS Motorsports continued success the remainder of this season and seasons to come.
Thank you,
Justin Henderson

I would argue that. With the exception of a lousy weekend at Knoxville, Cap made every WoO show they entered and finished between 10th and 20th. That's what the 82 car has. I think people have unreasonable expectations. It's not a car that's going to compete for WoO wins no matter who drives it.

Not arguing cause I think thats about their potential as well (more so on crew chief / set-up than driver) but didn't Dusty win a WoO Race last year (or year before I think) at Charlotte? That's off top of my head. And a Nats prelim night (again top of my head)? Dusty had the best and most success in that ride or at least most sustained success, then again he had the most sustained seat time too...

The 82 car won a WoO show at Jackson with Rodger Crockett a few years back. Crockett was always fast in the car before he was let go a week or two after winning that race. I think the car is capable of winning WoO caliber races. I feel like Dusty won an Outlaw show too but can't recall.

When did he win a WoO show at Jackson? I know he won at I-94 fergus falls, but never knew he won at Jackson. I could be wrong. Maybe he has. Cuz we know you're never wrong. Also I believe Zomer has the one WoO win at Charlotte and a couple 2nd place finishes.

Zomer won the one night of the World Finals in 2015 driving the BWW car.

You're right it wasn't Jackson. Starting to remember now. It was some rubber down track and didn't he get a flat and limp it home yet to win? When I think rubber down I think of Jackson. It was somewhere North of Knoxville and not much good happens up that way anyhow Trust me I've been wrong before and will be wrong again. Anyhow, still going with its a WoO caliber car. Agreed?

Zomer should've been in the car to start the year anyways. Never understood why he wasn't in the car to start the year, regardless of who's choice it was.
