https://www.speedshifttv.com/ - They usually do a pretty good job on the coverage.
First USAC race at The Grove since 1996. Couple 410 regulars, Dietrich and Kyle Moody, will have the wings off. USAC/ARDC Midgets on the undercard. Will be a good one. Heading out at the top of the hour.

Dietrich actually won his heat (nice early pass), but didn't do much in Feature. Kevin ThomasJr. won. Pretty good racing, but reminded me that I prefer bullrings for wingless cars
Kunz Armada showed up for Midgets, took 3 of top 4 spots (Spencer Bayston won), Brady Bacon fought them tough for 2nd ( I think, it was 2 hrs. ago, how am I supposed to remember???? Maybe 3rd....

But she's still pretty sharp
We were playing rummy last week, I had a monster hand & was chuckling about it...
So she tells me, "Why don't you move to a nursing home?"

Ahhh, but they were good years, a nice income, couple of trips to Australia, one to Hawaii, visits to 29 different States all to cover sprint car racing and being paid to go to most of 'em and there you are scraping together your coins to get into a race, so sad....

Chill...he's talking ave. lap speed, not top end speed. Brings it up occasionally to stir things up. Don't take the bait next time.

Dang, you rode your bicycle to Williams Grove and I've been to hundreds of sprint car tracks but they are boring, lol....railfan knows he's been around a long time to, the newbies/cheerleaders still wet their pants over the Grove deal, c'est la vie.....

Dude most of us working class stiffs who have a real job would kill to live the life that MSPN lived for so many years. He traveled all over making lasting friendships with good people from here in Central PA all the way to the land down under. I've never met the man and I don't always agree with him but if you can't tip your hat to a guy like him, you're either stupid or jealous.....Maybe both.

Thanks Mr. Fix. Hitting a hundred plus races for more than a decade was a blast, especially since I made a living while doing so, that's the part most of the peeps get pi$$ed about. What most people never knew about was the distribution group I had set-up in many parts of the country, especially with my NASCAR stuff, back in it's hay-day of Sr. Gordon, Rusty etc. The NASCAR crowd like to spend money and I along with help from a few other shooters had lots for them. Heck, the 1998 Daytona race that Sr. won I was standing in Victory Lane when he got there, my work there and some side by side of Sr. and Jr. that day was easily worth a couple years salary for most people. A couple of times I had shots of over 600 different Sprint cars in a single year, i was proud of that and my trips Down Under made that happen. The Aussie racefan is almost as passionate as the Posse fan and when I was there back in the mid 90's they were buying anything and everything I had or could print and the fun we had between races was unbelievable, no finer group of people have I ever met and that's from Sydney to Perth. Speaking tongue in cheek a bit over the years, sometimes a bit too much has cost me some grief in this forum but for the most part it has been a blast. The people of PA the area you are from were surprisingly among the best friends I had in the sport, many of them in secret as they didn't want others to know they actually liked Steve and Sammy etc. I miss those days, I'm a not too healthy old man now who has battled some issues over the last half dozen years but I wouldn't trade my life for anyone else's, I have been truly blessed with this journey and friendship.....

I know I've reacted a little too harshly to some of your tongue in cheek comments before. Admittedly, it took a little while to catch on to it but hey, I'm human. I've always enjoyed your stories and tales from your days traveling wherever sprint cars race and I hope you keep sharing them from time to time. I wish you the best with your health issues. Take it easy.....

Thank you very much Anthony CorinI for helping Nelligan out(We all know he needs it). That was a cool thing to do . I'm sorry Mike's reply was ungrateful and had a sarcastic vibe to it. Telling you to "run along little buddy " after you just kindly answered the question he asked. you see in Mike's 200 years on planet earth he still hasn't learned gratitude. Sad obviously but true. So with that being said I will most humbly and sencerly thank you for your help. For Mike's sake, hopefully he got it figured out. Take it easy
