Back by popular demand! The management at Enid Raceway Park in Enid, Oklahoma have invited the OCRS two barrell Sprint Cars to be part of their winternationals on Saturday, October 27th. Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Lawton, Meeker, and Creek County racers are invited to race the big historical track in Enid. racers will be competing for $1000.00 to win with all A feature starters making at least $250.00. all cars not making the A-main will recieve $100.00. just like the recent successful show at Ada, the OCRS and State Fair Speedway rules will be in effect. Drivers meeting will be @ 5:30, hot laps at 6:pm with racing starting @ 7:00 pm. any questions call Barry Grabel @ (918)260-3899 or Tom Sewell @ (918)-605-2641...let's see if we can't give the folks in Enid a good show and build some momentum towards making 2008 a great season with even more specials for the two-barrell racers.

Great stuff. Oklahoma needs another sprint car series outside of ascs. and outside of the great sprint car racing at sfs. especially with as good of promoters as Grabel and Sewell. If there was a promoter of the year award in the state of Oklahoma.................it should go to the promoters of OCRS. BMS has done well too this year, along with OSP's promoter and WSS.
But Grabel and Sewell have done an exceptional job turning that series around.........and not just that..........they aren't just runnin in Tulsa area. Ada was really good........Enid should be too. In years past the series only ran primarily in Tulsa........West Siloam has stepped up and booked em too. There are quite a few champ sprints in this state........and even if they can't make all the shows.......at least make a few. OCRS is the best deal around for champ sprints......all the way around.......
Why doesn't Creek County ever run OCRS shows? or MAS? ..........or even BMS? Outlaw?

Why are injected sprints (Supers) not on this agenda? There have been 25 to 35 at SFS every week this year.

Also I need to mention that, as is the norm with the Oil Capital Racing Series---there is NO entry fee.
