Had 40 cars at chico destroyed 25 of them, last night kwd officials bashed Tulare equipment on narc410 Twitter,I guess they don't know the old saying, Don't bite the hand that feeds you, they are lucky Tulare didn't pull the plug when they showed up with a low car count, jus saying.

Last week kws was told don't bring fuel seller because they have fuel for sale at the track, Antioch sold 5 gallons of fuel, wtf kws officials don't hear very good, unless each racer brought there own fuel, you can decide for yourself, usually there is a line at the fuel truck unless you are BK

I don't understand what you are saying about the fuel. I'm appreciative of any speed shop that pays and employee and outfits a vendor trailer that brings fuel and thousands of dollars of spares to the pits as Kaedings does at many races. Pancho's, Kreitz, ART, etc, etc.
However as fuel goes, we wouldn't buy fuel at Antioch no matter what the track said. We buy 55 gallon drums from a wholesale vendor during the week. The only time we buy at the track is a multiple night event or Speed Week events where we don't have enough trailer space to carry that much fuel. I would have had a major preparation problem to show up at a track without enough fuel for one night already in the trailer. Most KWS teams don't show up needing anything including fuel and tires. We buy tires at the track only if we burnt through more than expected and need to mount them for the next night. Travelling 410 teams usually have their sh*t together before getting to the track. But thanks to the vendors as stuff happens.
KWS is now a organization managed by comittee like NARC was. They will get it figured out and car counts will recover. June is historically the hardest month money wise for owners and for us personally, we have vacation, graduation, another going to college, and work demands in construction making it near impossible to race each week during the summer. For me, if no time for work, then no money for racing.
KWS will be fine. A great history.

KWS will be fine??? Hello McFly!!!!!! Earth too Baylands RP you are joking ? KWS is in flames and ashes. SCCT has their foot on their neck and no relief in sight. I believe as do many, many long time followers here that the winged 410's in NorCal are done, stick a fork In them. Please explain to us Baylands RP how you justify your silly notion KWS is fine??? Great history yes, we agree but their in need of sponsorship, points and winning funds and monies and that series has shown it hasnt the stomack to get there and hustle up the funds and corporate sponsorship to run a first class, top notch 410 series. Show us!!!! Sorry just stating the obvious and truth. Being dilusional and hopeful and wanting and all the other crazy wishes dosent pay teams the money they need to travel and run a 410 team. Keep hoping and maybe when reality sets in youll "get real" and realize its over for good old KWS. New blood, new promoters and buckets of money with new revitalized thinking and ideas is whats needed, until then get use to crappy 360 racing or take up golf.

I'm all about the SCCT. Just finished prep on the 360 for Calistoga in two weeks. But on your point, in what way does the success of the 360 series take away from the 410 KWS? I'm not burying the 410 engine in the corner of the yard and say we can't run 410's anymore because SCCT 360 is doing so well. The SCCT car counts will ultimately settle into a strong 35 car count as the back markers get tired of racing at the back of the C for $50 and will instead race weekly shows and Civil War where there are smaller fields and they can compete. SCCT is riding a wave right now. It will mellow. Civil War used to get 40+ car fields regularly. We ran Chico many years ago with 60+ 360 cars.
KWS has a strong base of car owners like those on Fig Ave in Fresno and those like Abreu that in fact started the SCCT that can afford to run SCCT and 410's, and will contnue to do so. KWS has always been the highest paying NorCal purse before the new SCCT. The SCCT is showing the way for promotion and Civil War, Hunt Series, Placerville, Stockton, KWS have all been invigorated and increased purses and point funds. 410 is still the top series and Northern California can support it.
Why do you seem so adamant that KWS must die because SCCT is thriving. We raced Baylands and San Jose for years and never wished bad on NARC. BTW, McFly wins in the end, Biff.
Seperate issue, I would like to see KWS/NARC promote Northern CA 410 non wing 410 also. Would like to see SCCT beat them to it with a 360 non wing branch.
