"Popeye" Cardey (danita new name for david) will be good to go by Las Vegas. He had tremendous blunt force trauma to his left arm above and below the elbow along with a large gash that took 20 stitches to close. It was a freak hit where Damions wing tab actually cut thru davids front down tube strut and allowed that tab to enter the drivers compartment pinning his arm against the seat. He is very lucky. Thats to all who were so kind to check on him......,. Jim C. (pops as gaunt call me)

kinda funny nobody has said anything about how cardey completely drove into gardner and flipped him but yet someone bumps jones and all hell breaks loose

Think you need to look closer. The 71 car bounced and got over with no help from David.
Was looking straight at it when it happened. In fact, the outcome was fairly predictable from watching the previous laps which is why I wasn't watching my car. The 83 came into the corner with more speed than the 71. 71 got punted from behind and started bouncing, 83's momentum carried it into the 71 again and sent it over. I'm not a huge Gardner fan but he didn't do anything wrong nor did he appear to make a mistake. He just flat got run over.

No doubt he got a "love tap" from Cardey going into 1. Maybe it had something to do with his move coming out of turn 4?
....

I didn't see it so I can't comment on this specific incident. However, from what I've witnessed in the past, Cardey doesn't have a history of wildness, rough driving or boneheaded moves.

David Cardey is a great driver with lots of talent and as they say in NASCAR it was a racing deal
I am a huge Demon fan but even the Demon has made mistakes
Get well soon David and kick ass at the Oval Nationals
