Who is this Mike leone guy. Is he a writer for someone or a track promoter?
Dont mean to come across as a j-Ass but he sure favors certain drivers and doesn't give credit to some who deserve credit!
Ex Shane Stewart congrats on 2 new straight win and career win 24? ( how many has schatz had in a row, Gravel 3 out 0f 4 wins in a week) Ok. How long have you been raciing? (Meaning your in your 40s) and you have 24 career wins what will schuhart and little hand will have in their 40s
ex. Congrats Paul McMahon on a Solid top 5 tonight! (Umm you started in the front row) good thing the track was follow the leader after lap 10 mostly
ex. Greg Wilson (whom I like, I'm a fan) sure gave w20 a hell of a run in the"B" 11th to 5th ( ok aren't the cars in the B sub par to guys in the A) hb when schuhart and gravel pass the most cars and are hard chargers.
Like I said I'm very new to Twitter and see his tweets they make me laugh!!

I have no idea what you're saying. But I'll tell ya something right now..Donny Schatz wouldn't have half the wins or Championship's if Kyle Larson raced WoO. Period. End of story. Donny Schatz is not the best sprint car driver on the planet. He's #2.

you have your own Twitter now and you can tweet what you wanna tweet and you can favor whoever you wanna favor ;-). I thought every tweet he posted tonight makes complete sense. I see nothing but love from another avid sprint car fan When I read mikes tweets.
1 coming from 11 to 5th and missing the transfer by 1 spot, after running the heck out of your car....mike tweeted about it No big deal. That's not favoritism.
2 he simply stated that this was shane Stewarts second win in a row AT THAT TRACK, and his 2nd of the year Stewart has over 100 wins in 410 and 360's He's won the 360 Knoxville nationals 5 times, and ran a 360 for much of his career So take it easy on the "you're in your 40's" comment, cuz Stewart has won a TON of big races over his career and hasn't been with the outlaws for 25 years.
3 congrats Paul McMahan on your top 5. yep, much agreed with that tweet Everyone knows that team is continuing to struggle and tonight was only their 4th top 5 of the year, so that's a big deal And your "you started on the front row" comment is ignorant as heck and does make you sound like an ass. starting on the front row with the world of outlaws Against Schats, larson, Stewart, sweet, Pittman, gravel etc... doesn't guarantee you a win
By the way I have no clue who mike is. Never met him. Just follow him on twitter.

Very true. But I think it's one of the coolest things in racing right now. Larson racing once a month and winning, or contending for the win every single time. It really shows he is the most talented racer in the country IMO. Go to F1 Kyle! Call Haas and tell him you want a seat.

I have been trying to figure out for about 2 years what he actually does. he chases races all over hell and back. He will go anywhere any day to watch races. A few weeks ago he was in Michigan for a GLSS and SOD show because everything else was rained out. He hits alot of PA shows, WOO, All Stars, he was even out west. I know he posts sometimes he is "working" at Sharon Speedway.
All I know is he's one of the best people to follow on Twitter. He gets to a race early and takes a pic of almost every car in the pits and where they come from and who the driver is. He does updates throughout the night. If you're interested in the race he attends he's a good follow for the night.
As for favoring drivers not something I noticed. I feel like he posts about all drivers all the time. It appears he's more of a fan than anything so if he favors drivers like you or I do as a fan so be it.

Mike is a close friend of mine. Race director and PR at Sharon Speedway. He also runs all of the Rush Racing Series umbrella (crate lates, mods, stocks). And he only tweets about the stuff from the races he's attending, so don't get offended when your favorite driver scores a top 10 and he's not there to tweet about it.

HaHa, Mike is great and a must follow on Twitter as he updates races he's at. I think he said he attended 120ish races last year all over the country! Nice guy (not hard to find at the track as someone above says). I just wonder where he gets all this cash and time It's a fiscal and time commitment for sure, so the rest of us can just live vicariously through him.

He's great to follow for racing updates because Mike seems to be at a race every night! I appreciate being able to follow some races transiently because of him when I'm not there. If you don't like something he tweets just don't follow the guy. Nobody is gonna be hurt about it. That's the great thing about twitter, if you're tired of someone ya just got a click a button!
