With WoO in Jackson and USAC in Knoxville what will car counts be? Both are same distance, don't wanna drive to Knoxville for 15 USAC cars when I'm guessing Jackson will have 30+

I would vote to go to USAC. The WOO has been going to Jackson for years. If there are not people in the seats, USAC will not be back to Knoxville.

I would surely bet the racing will be better with usac compared to Jackson.

Jackson Nationals are a marquee event paying 25k to win plus 360s.

USAC at Knoxville. Even if the non-wing car count is lacking they will still put on a fantastic show. Plus you have 360s and 305s at Knoxville for some winged action.

Given the current forecast in the Midwest, my hope is that they are racing at both venues...

It would be a no brainer fo me, I don't get to see USAC sprints very oftern so I would be at the I80 and Knoxville shows if I had the vacation time and fundage. It is just a bonus that ticket price for both of the USAC shows will less than one night of the WoO.
At this point I am just hoping that the Friday July 28th TBD turns out to be Eagle Raceway to pair up with the already announced Sat July 29th show at Lakeside. PitShackGuy.....what do you know about it?

I've heard 30 is what John McCoy has heard from that are committed to racing Saturday.
Don't know how many are travelers and how many are locals taking the wing off or putting a USAC driver in their car.
Either way, hopefully the weather is good and track is wet and heavy for these guys.

Not sure how many USAC cars will be running but there should be a decent field of USAC regulars and guys who will tow out for the special race. I believe Brady Bacon will be there in the 63, and Knoxville regular RJ Johnson will be fielding his 71 car for Arizona and California wingless driver RJ Johnson. Would not be shocked if some guys from the WAR/Powri sprints went unless they have a race. I know if I lived near Knoxville id be headed there this weekend.

I'm pretty jacked up to see Knoxville for my first time ever. The HOF induction ceremonies are a nice sugar coating. Traditional sprint cars plus winged sprint cars are the proverbial cherry on top with sprinkles.

Hey fair enough I was just curious. Just seems like a high number for confirmed when only about 20-25 guys run the USAC schedule with regularity. I would be thrilled with ~32 though! My fear is some guys will rather stay around Indiana than make the long tow to a big track they don't think they have a motor for and run LPS or something like that...but I hope that's just me being a bit incredulous. That would be a bummer but I'm hoping the pits are filled! The Powri WAR Sprints are at Valley that Saturday and most of those guys are pretty loyal to that series. May see a guy like Boyles though. MSCS doesnt have a show that weekend so hopefully we get some of those guys like Cummins and Short. Dallas Hewitt looked strong at Eldora, maybe we get a few guys like that too.
A track like fast track with rich history like Knoxville SHOULD seemingly entice some guys out there. This week can't go by quick enough. Midgets and WAR sprints at Jacksonville on Friday and Knoxville on Saturday!

Right there with ya! I like traditional sprint cars first and foremost but the wing cars can be pretty awesome as well.
