Racy track! The Duncans did it again! All three Feature races were good with crowded racing for position all through the feilds. The 410 class is definately tough!

Wide and racy indeed.  That move by Brownie to thread the needle for 2nd was nice.

So Madsen throws a slider right into Jeffrey in turn 2.  Something must have happened to Jeffrey's car after that as he fell back from there on.  Cool or not?  Racing or reckless?

He could have been sliding around in the seat in the pile of poo he dropped in his drawers when he got an eyeful of Madsen's RR on his nerf bar. He's lucky he didn't end up in a HOF suite.

It wasn't that bad IMO. Jeffrey obviously had to have seen him and tried to squeeze between Ian and the wall but ran out of real estate and had to back off. Not sure if there was any contact. Jeffrey was fast on the bottom, probably should have stayed there.

Never having driven a sprint car, I don't know, but maybe when RPMs go down its not so easy to get engine at top speed again? Seems to happen a lot....

so now when a guy throws a """Slider,""" the goal is to take away someone else's real estate between cushion and wall?  I've seen that same move 100 times in turn 1-2, and If guy sliding knows he can't complete it, he lets off 98 out of those 100 times.  I'm not sure the goal is to put someone up in the fence, but what do I know.

Exactly. After seeing the video of it several times, it's clear that Ian threw a reckless slider and had no intentions of backing off. If not for Lynton taking an evasive maneuver, they both would have been upside down.  It's not suprising to see Ian make a move like this, as he does it somewhat consistently - he's lucky it was on Lynton this time since he is as clean of a driver as they come.

Somebody going to get hurt one of these days doing that kind of racing.

No doubt Ian was very reckless with that slider. Good thing for both of them that Lynton made the right decision and was quick enough with his reflexes to avoid Madsen. One of these days somebody will be in just the right spot when Ian pulls another stunt like that and Ian will be on his lid! I don't wish him any harm, but he needs to be taught a lesson. No way he was going to clear Lynton!

when asked on Facebook, Lynton  played it off as no big deal.  "Hard racing."    Had it been a non Vortex customer, maybe his thoughts (or at least PUBLIC thoughts) would be much different.

I personally didn't like the "slider" by Ian at all.

I thought it was a dick move by Ian.  Not the first time nor will it be the last.  Wasn't it him that started a big crash last year with the WOO?

"he's lucky it was on Lynton this time since he is as clean of a driver as they come."   - Uhhh ehhhh okay....  It was hard racing for sure. I feel like Lynton would probably do the same in a similar situation. I always view both of these drivers as hard racers and that usually makes for racing as about exciting as it gets. Love watching both.
