I am working near Chicago and looking to make my first trip to Kokomo, Wilmot and Angell Park for the All Stars. Any local tips on places to sit at the track for the best view. How full the stands will be with Tony Stewart racing? When I need to get there to get a good seat. Also if there is good places to eat around the areas.Local attractions in each town would be nice as well.

Yo West_Coast, Larryitis and MadDog and maybe StanM are gonna be your go to. Take Larryitis up on his Facebook offer. He'll point you in right direction regarding those WI races. Cheers!

Larryitis should take care of you. I can try to help. Wilmot's gate opens at 5, so if you are already there, (I assume you will be camping) you might find a time where the gate is open during the day. Run up and put a blanket down to the right of the flag stand, quite high. It is a good view. There are no places in Wilmot to eat except the Wilmot Riverside. Typical bar food but good. (Only option in town) I expect the stands to be wall to wall with Tony Stewart being there, there are no reserved seats. Pits may be an option. There are grandstands in the pits also, but only about one third the height. If you are camping, let me know and I can help you with that, where to set up etc.... [email protected] I am not making Kokomo, but Wilmot and Angell Park are happening. I can show you where to park for overnight parking/camping at Angell Park also. Angell Park is about an hour and 50, 2 hours pulling a trailer from Wilmot. Food places around there I am not to familiar with. It is about 4 1/2 hours from Kokomo to Wilmot. Get in contact, I am sure I will be there before you.

Last time Tony raced in Wisconsin was Plymouth and the place was standing room only. I would expect some pretty good crowds again. In wisconsin they are runnig with the IRA which has some good cars and counts also. Should be a couple of good races. Your knocking off a few tracks that are on many bucket lists.
Kokomo - I would go ahead and buy a close to the top advanced seat when you are sure your going and not worry about getting there super early.
Wilmot- .They have a pretty good sized grandstand But I too would expect it to be pretty full. Get thre early. higher the better near the flag stand here IMO
Sun Prairie - not really a bad seat in the place high or low.Lots of hillsasde bleacher seating.Probably could show up here latter than the others and still find a good spot.
Check out the Nitty Gritty basically walking distance north of Angell Park. Geat menu of of specialty burgers among other things. And a large selection of some of the areas local breweries. This place has been famous in madison for decades and added this Sun Prarie location a few years ago.
