The Sooner Region drivers are a joke. SFS drivers are much better.

not true okc12, where you there, talked to several people and they all agree it was a typical racing accident, Ramey came down to block and Brian slid a little high and they touched, not even a dent in Brian's front bumper.

Congrats Brian on RACING your way to a Sooner region championship!! You may not be as good a racer as okc12, but nice job anyways. Go Wesmar!!

hell man my sideline racin ability is legendary..........lol
Don, it was enough oviously to leave an impression on Ramey. I've seen a few of those "racing deals" this year...............and you're probably right it probably was not intentional.......but in seing how that 87 drives anyhow I have no doubt it was careless. I think most would agree that no matter who is at fault that is not how one would want to win a championship. In playing indoor soccer we don't like to win finals because the other teams best player got hurt or something to that effect. But you are right I wasn't there - although in hindsight I wish I'd a made it up saturday night. sure wouldn't have missed anything at SFS................
I wouldn't say those Sooner Region drivers suck, you can't compare it to SFS drivers. Not until much more SFS racers go run the multiple tracks those guys do. I won't argue that there a few who aren't that good.........but there are very very good drivers in that region. It is in fact one of the most competitive regions that ascs has. The top 3 are really good. Beyond that there are others who can win it on any given night. And the Sooner Region supplies more National Tour Transplants than any other series. That field at MAS was better than the one at SFS. But I think as time goes on we'll see more sfs guys run some ascs. I don't really think you can compare which is better between a series that runs mutiple tracks in multiple states to 1 class that runs one track. But between super sprints and ascs sooner region that alone is some really good racin here in the state.......and thats without even mentioning Champ Sprints or any of the micros around the state..........

Ramey is the biggest crybaby (literally and figuratively) out there. If anything happens its always the other persons fault. I've seen him throw more fits than Mack Brown.

For a crybaby he is one heck of a sprint car driver.
But whereas I think all of us agree that Ramey is a whinebag. There are not many regional guys that have as big a shot as he does of winnin ASCS National Tour races - especially at the Bowl......I'd think he's definitely one of the favorites in the Challenge race this weekend. Right behind Gary Wright and Jason Johnson.
