They announced last night that the 360 purse will be 10 k to win, don't know if the 410 purse will be increased but I would think it would be. They also said that Smoke will be there, don't know if he will race both 360's and 410's but some teams will run both. That should get the cars there but they will have to start the racing early because of curfew and the number of car that should show up.
Calistoga is fast and you don't want to make a mistake at the speeds that they attain on the big half-mile track, it can be very unforgiving. One of the best races I've seen at Calistoga was a 360 race(60 car field) most had about the same power so the driver made most of the difference between cars. With 15 or more very good drivers in the A main it all came down the the driver, not who had the most money in the engine. Hope the race on the 24th is the same.

The 360 race is the SCCT series and the 410 races are presented by NARC/King of the West

This is a little selfish of me but I hope this doesn't pull any NW cars away from running Dirt Cup. Calistoga is on my bucket list though. Should be an awesome event.
