With forecast of the R word in West Memphis, Arkansas on Friday and Pevely, Missouri on Saturday there may be a few Outlaws show up in Knoxville this weekend. I think I will go find out. Knoxville has rescheduled practice night Friday and Saturday will be their first race. Knoxville weather forcast looks good! A little cool but dry.
You can tell an ass... but, you can't tell 'em much

I had planned on both WoO shows for the weekend, but have changed my plans to the Knoxville opener! Hopefully Pevely rains out earlly enough for some of the them to possibly make the trip. Should be a great weekend as always at Knoxville! See you there!

I grew up ~5 minutes from I55, live about 20 minutes away now. Have been travelling to Knoxville every year since I was 2 (this will be my 24th year). The drive there is about 5.5 hours, so if Pevely cancels by noon I imagine the Outlaw teams could make it there by 6 or so. It would be tough, but some of them will probably try and pull it off. Here's hoping for no rain down here in Missouri, though!

I too was planning on I55 but was keeping an eye on Knoxville. Now I'm not sure, mom fell yesterday & im in the hospital with her waiting on surgery this evening. Mom is one of the few things that take precedence over racing.

Do the racers need to get WoO approval before racing at Knoxville? I assume there are restrictions on where they can race but those restrictions apply when the WoO is actually racing. I recall Jason Sides running afoul of the powers that be a few years ago over this issue.

I believe as long as the track has the WoO on the schedule at some point during the year, the WoO drivers can race there in the event of a rain out.

I do wish the best for your Mother, and that's not a joke.

With Pevely officially cancelled, it'll be interesting to see who heads north... plenty of time!

Trying to put together a realistic list but struggling. Gravel on the way home, Marks headed back to PA. Seems doubtful Sides, Kraig Kinser, Haud Jr. or the Shark Team would show up. I don't recall Schatz ever making a rainout trek to Knoxville. Maybe the KKR guys and Saldana?

I'm thinking KKR and LMR are the most likely... then Saldana. Sheldon is a maybe I would think... just due to his lack of laps at Knoxville. McMahan and Jason Johnson are hopefuls, but not sure how realistic.
