Congratulations to Spenicer Baston and the Kevin Swindell motorsports team for their Attica All Stars win last night. Is this the first victory for the team? How is Kevin Swindell?

Yeah it was both the Swindell Speed Lab and Baystons first Sprint car win.

He was standing in victory lane last night with the team so I'd say that's progress.

His wife posted a video on social media of him walking outside with a walker a few weeks ago. It's pretty incredible.

I apologize if this is out of line but how did Kevin Swindell get injured? I didn't get into dirt racing as much until this past year and just assumed it was a racing injury. Again sorry if this is out of line I know it's probably touchy.

We're more offended that you asked a message board that is 90% full of trolls/morons instead of simply googling his name. It was a racing injury at the 2015 Knoxville Nationals.

I apologize for that. Just assumed someone would know because not all the people on here are *ssholes. Thank you, it honestly didn't even occur to me to just look it up... Doi.

No need to apologize. As someone above said he got injured in a wreck on his prelim night at 2015 Nats. Cars bunched up at start, I believe Ed Lynch Jrs car did not take off causing a bunch up, Kevin flipped and landed square down on the tires. Didn't look like the hardest flip you'll see but he literally slammed down on the wheels so it compressed him per se.

Glad to see Kevin is doing well. I didn't see the video of him walking with the Walker until now and that's simply amazing. From what I've seen, he's been busting his ass trying to get anything he can get and isn't taking no for an answer. His determination is inspiring and its cool to see that it's paying off.

For those of you that don't know, Kevin's Nickname was BULLDOG. He raced every lap like it was for the Checkered Flag and that is how he has approached this problem. I refuse like Kevin does to consider it anything more, if anybody on the planet can improve this situation it's this man. Go get 'em BULLDOG.....

Kevin was as good as any.It shows what can happen.Alex Zanardi,Sam Schmidt,Brad Doty have shown there is life after racing by being involved.I hope someday he can race again but the courage and hard work to get to this point are admirable.

If nothing else, Kevin would have a career as a commentator if he wants it. Racin Boys had him work a night or 2 of the Chili Bowl broadcast this year. He was very entertaining to listen to. Lots of knowledge and not afraid to give an opinion.
