Just wondering if Chico got rained out tonite, or did they get the show off? If it did rain, how will they re-format the show? Two shows tomorrow, or one big show with an earlier start, or a Sunday rain date? I couldn't make it, had to work......Will be there next weekend for the Wingless Nats though!

No rain at all at the track tonight although it certainly looked threatening to the north before dark with several lightning events. A guy next to me said it was raining hard in the north end of town during the heats. So the complete schedule was run with no problems other than way too many yellows and reds.
Shane Stewart was the class of the field. Ran a lap in his heat under the fast TT of the night after going to rear from having to change a flat RF, Won Dash #1 and led all 30 laps of the A. He could pull several car lengths per lap on 2nd running Andy Forsberg.
Sean Becker got black flagged while running 3rd in the A-Main after losing a muffler.
TK, BK, Willie Croft, Greg Decaires, Andy Gregg, Chuck Gurney Jr., et al run tomorrow.
