Amongst the other stories that came out of this past weekend, one that was missed by this board was the fact that a Knoxville regular traveled east to Posse country and took home the top prize.
I eagerly await the Posse to fire back, but doubt it will happen until August.
Also, I eagerly await the posts of Posse fans pointing out that Iowa isn't racing right now - and that's fine. You are correct. We will await your response on the track when your best drivers come for the absolute best sprint car race on this planet. We await you!

Lynton Jeffrey won at Port Royal. Won't hear any excuses from this Posse fan. I've been saying for a couple of years that the Knoxville regulars are the toughest locals in the country. Not just due to their ability to run well on their home turf but mainly due to their ability to run well when they leave the porch which as we know, has not been something that the Posse guys have done particularly well at lately. They're hard to beat in Central PA but even on their home tracks, they've been getting beat more often by outsiders. Hell the Posse almost went winless over an entire ASCoC weekend last year. If not for a perfectly timed caution & subsequent masterful restart by Dietrich at Selinsgrove, Dave Blaney had that race in the bag. I was glad to see Lynton win. I love the Aussies. They're all gassers and they're just all around cool guys.

Yeah, a midwest guy won at a PA track... cool. I couldn't make the race, but read the results on Twitter and thought "thats great, good for him. He's been close there before". After that? I went about my day.

This must be that fake news that's all the rage these days. It just can't be true.

True that, and he is a Aussie, not an Iowa native. Just to be perfectly clear, no driver from Iowa has ever won the Knoxville Nationals.

Congrats to Lynton. Go say hi to him if you ever get the chance. I spoke with him briefly at a gas station once. He's very humble and nice as you'll find out on youtube, after winning or making into a race.
Keep It Real

YungWun24, I am questioning whether or not you actually talked to Lynton because I don't think he has ever had a brief conversation. He always has a lot to say. He is one of the good guys, wherever he goes. Glad he got a win.

He raced at Attica the night before then drove to PA to race Port Saturday. And Yep all by himself. That's badass. Congrats. From social media it sounded like winning at Port meant a lot to him.

Is there really a need to piss on the man's accomplishment? There have been a lot of PA drivers cheered for at Knoxville over the years. And if you really want to start comparing careers........

I too am a Posse fan. I was there. A great win. Congratulation to Lynton!!! Towed to Port by himelf and was helped at the track by a couple of locals. A great VL interview. He is welcome to race with in central PA anytime!

Looks like you out douched all the Pa fans with this rediculous post, great job! See, you are the reason Posse fans gloat and say crazy things, because they know weak minded folks will take the bait and lash out like children, like you just did. Anyway, great run by Lynton, this Posse fan is happy to see anyone from outside the area come in and do well, I hope Balog gets a win or two while he's here as well.

Well, that's just rich, calling out another poster for "pssing on the man's accomplishments" When it's not a Knoxville regular, you are right there with MSPN and Cubic Dollars to piss on a driver's acccomplishments.

Congratulation to Lynton Jeffrey. He did race Pennsylvania several years ago before he began racing regularly at Knoxville.
I know a bunch of cars are not ready this early in the year, but only 16 cars at Port Royal on Saturday, with several non regulars in the field? The field could look kinda scary in a few weeks.
