As most of you know, the past 6 years have been spent dealing with the daily worries and drama of Colon Cancer.
Last week, I had a check up and have been found to be CANCER FREE!
Thanks to everybody who helped me through the trying times, Brent Keading and the JP's Knoxville Bound program, drivers, track owners, friends and foes, customers and co-workers for all of the good thoughts and positive things done on my behalf.
PLEASE go get your colon checked NOW, I don't want to see anyone else go through this stuff when it can be prevented with easy tests.

Great news Duane. Glad to hear it. I know how stressful check-ups can be and hearing the words "cancer free" is as good as it gets.

Duane, Pleased to learn of your being declared Cancer Free. That's wonderful news. Both Linda and I are very happy for you. Please continue your efforts to educate and help others concerning cancer testing. Thanks for all you do to support the NSCHoF&M and other charitable organizations.

Fantastic...next time you're out this way, look me up (or me that way...) and I'll buy the first round, or two!!!
I was just telling Beth (DJ) that my daughter's volleyball team had collected nearly $15,000.00 in pledges for our local Relay for Life event later this month.

Congratulations. I'm dealing with some health issues right now so I can empathize with you. The outpatient surgery yesterday will keep me away from the first night of the Princeton National but I'm going to try to be there Saturday. Look for the photographer with the bandage on the side of his head and swelling over his eye the size of a golf ball and that just might be me. I wish I could brag that I got smacked with a barstool and really tore up the other guy but unfortunately it's nothing that glamorous. I can relate to how happy you must be to get past your ordeal because this stuff comes up out of nowhere and knocks you for a loop.
P.S. Had the polyps removed three years ago and was clean back in February so they gave me ten more years before I've gotta get that end checked again. At least the bottom end is doing alright but my top wing has got a big dent in it right now.
