Most everyone knows what a Sonic Drive In resturant is. However, apprantely many people have forgotten one of the unwritten rules about the Sonic Drive In. I would like to help fix this issue. Most Sonic's have multiple places where to pull your car up and park and also have a drive-thru lane. The drive-thru lane is only for drink orders. If you want to order food, please park your car so that we can keep the drive thru lane moving fast with drink orders only.

Why not place a large sign at the drive up area stating, Drink Orders only!

Because 90% of people that eat at Sonic can't read. That's why they use total dumbasses in their commercials.

Well it looks like someone is reading their Sonic employee manual. Iapplaud you JonR for finding somthing else to do in your spare time.... Congrats !...... maybe you can get Altman to join you.

That damn drive thru menu is so confusing, because it shows all those tasty food items, and I usually forget that I wanted just a drink, and order most of the left side of the menu, with no salt fries and burgers with unusual toppings. Is this why the peeps behind me honk their horns and threaten me with violence when I sit at the window with these orders for me and 17 of my best friends, plus Scotty Cook?

What the hell are you complaining about? At least that way you don't have to run their order out to their parking spot on roller skates and risk busting your ass! Just be thankful they are spending their money at Sonic, the burgers are better at Whataburger.

Wow What a Thread. Maybe for some of us this is a good thing to know. I don't have a Sonic around me & the 1's I do see aren't conducive to semi parking !! Thanks for the info. But hey we are getting a Casey's down the road.

Those two are such dumbasses. They must have their chauffeurs drive them to the bank to deposit the mid six-figure residual checks for the commercials. Most of us have been dumbasses for far less money.

Good to know, from now on when I want Tots with my Dr Pepper even though you have a picture of them along with the rest of the food on the drive through menu board I will pull out of line and park. I don't want you spitting in my drink before you hand it out the drive through window to me.

The real prupose of the drive thru lane is for the cheap people that wish to avoid tipping the car hops who only make $2.30 an hour before tips.

As bad as I hate to say it, Sonic's corporate office is in Oklahoma City. For them to use these two clowns as advertising aids, does not promote Oklahoma or Oklahoma City in a positive way. They need to hire a new marketing director and change this horrible image to something more tastfull.
