Every year I try to get to A different track that I have yet been too.
I have been to all of PA, NY, NJ,ELDORA, KNOXVILLE, VEGAS,LAWRENCEERG,VOLUSIA
Looking for somewhere racy and is more than a one day show. What are some suggestions?

they don't run the outlaws. IRA runs there. and thier own 360 sprints. Plymouth dirt track in plymouth wisconsin, that track knows how to run a quick efficient show.

Iron 55 at Pevely. There is no question. Power I midgets will be there with them. I prefer this track over any I have ever visited.

i have watched a lot of winged sprint car races in my day
but i am getting to a point that i think that wingless sprints are more entertaining that winged sprints
yea the speed of the outlaws and posse are really impressive but
how many times have you seen a 10th place car come from the back and win .....not very often
watching 3 or 4 sprints in a corner wide open left front in the air racing lap after lap seems a lot more entertaining to me
don't get me wrong i will still go to every winged race i can get to... but for entertainment try to watch some wingless races
sure looks like fun to watch to me.
i think it would be great if the outlaws started a wingless division that paid the big bucks like the winged sprints

Do Indiana Sprint Week, I doubt you will see a bad show and you will come away almost wishing you hadn't because a winged show will have to be awful good to top most of those....

Where you from & how far you looking to go? I'd 2nd pevely as a choice. Ohio speedweek not a bad option as well, the race last year at waynesfield between little haud & Larson was as good as I've seen.

Californias has some of the best tracks and racing in the country! Ok, I live here and I am a little biased, but we have lots of small tracks that make for great racing! I recommend going to Tulare on the 17th of March and then Stockton on the 24th and staying for the Placerville race on Weds, the 29th! You will have a great time seeing races and of course visiting our beautiful green and white state right now since we got tons of rain and snow this year! California gets a bad rap, but seriously our state has everything from beautiful moutains to beautiful beaches, and everything in between. Sacramento is a nice airport to fly into and pretty close to everything. Maybe you can get a great deal on flights and make sure to get your tickets soon! Where do you live?
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!
Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting
racecars on dirt!

I would concur with Pevely, I-55, Federated Auto Parts Speedway, whatever you want to call it.
Tri-State in Haubstadt looks like it always produces a good A main as well.

Brad Doty Classic Tuesday at Attica before Kings Royal! Then you could travel down to Eldora for Kings Royal weekend.

...then travel over and hit the Silver Cup at Lernerville (Tuesday after KR) and the Summer Nats at Williams Grove...

If you can't do the whole Ohio speedweek, either the beginning weekend with Attica, eldorado & waynesfield or the last weekend of Lima & atomic.

For racing that is part of the WOO, the IronMan at I-55 should be high on your list.
If you are willing to look at other sanctions: I would recommend the Tri-City/I-55 USAC weekend in May. USAC sprints and USAC midgets Friday night at Tri-City and USAC sprints at I-55. You could do both comfotrably from one hotel room.
Belleville Midget Nationals in August should be on everyone's bucket list. The speeds in those cars are insane.
I would also agree with the Indiana Sprint week that was mentioned above, but also look at the Indiana Midget week. At most of the midget weeks, 410 sprints are the support class.
Finally, Ventura Raceway in California is also a bucket list track. Watching the waves from the ocean hit the beach in between the races is amazing.

There are not very many two day Outlaw shows out in the Midwest, but Cedar Lake and I-55 each have one. They are very racey tracks. Dodge City is a great track, but I am not sure how in will be that late in the year. If you want a one day show Grand Forks is the best sprint car racing I have seen.

April 21 and 22 would be my choice. Cali's good, but it's a long haul, Memphis / Pevely, I would take Thursday and Friday off work, and be home for Monday.

Kokomo Smackdown. 3 and 4 wide racing is just the norm there

For WoO racing its hands down the Iron Man 55 at Pevely, MO.
There is no replacement for cubic displacement

Um don't forget 2 day WOO show at the BADLANDS motor speedway.then hit Cedar Lake for another 2 day WOO show the next weekend. Made my first trip to Badlands/Huset's and found it very racy. Cedar Lake also is a pretty neat place.
i too though would cast my vote for the combo WOO powri show for the iron man in Pevely.
