If you do two things you MIGHT have credibility.

1. Find any other race track besides Knoxville that has about 60 sprints a night weekly.

2. Learn how to type.

The central Pa tracks that run 410's usually have 30 to 35 sprints for a weekly show and your Ohio tracks are doing pretty well.

Last time I heard the reason that the WoO does not come to Okc anymore is that Lanny did not want to pay the promotor fee. He said that with the crowd that comes in for the race he is loosing money in the end. Dont shoot the messenger that is just what I heard.

catpuppy , you might be a little high on the count on 410's in Pa. maybe 20 to 30 on a regular night, now the specials have more, The 358's are pulling over 35 a week at several tracks in Central Pa., have a friend who runs weekly up at Selinsgrove they avg. around 36 to 38 a week, also know a guy who writes for Area Auto Racing News in the Northeast and they struggle to get about 25 to 30 410's in Western Pa.(Lernerville and Mercer and Knox) and Eastern Ohio (Sharon) too. Just the sign of the economic times according to him. Expensive motors and not big enough purses.

Those figures are just what I have heard about. I admit that I could have been off on my numbers.Although, I was only five cars off in my post. from what you said was the weekly numbers.

The economic thing is probably more to the truth than anything.

I don't think that you got anyone fired up. Everyone knows what you are here for, you used to try it all the time. Good luck on your future internet bothering endeavours.

Man I second that notion to the extreme.

I don't care what anyone thinks - I really like to hear different view on everything - just as long as it makes sense. That makes no sense.

drive it in deep - sprint car racing dying? thats why we just saw over 70 sprints tonight..........no tellin how many were runnin ascs at MAS. Tell me man.......when was the last time a late model race pulled that in Oklahoma. There's hardly any late models or races in the entire state. and yet you want to talk about sprint car racing dying out. As far as this state goes.......there's a reason there a lot of sprints and good sprint racing............and virtually little to no late models.

Just checked MAS results.........41 sprints. Thats a total of of almost 130 sprints racing between 2 tracks in this state tonight............whenever your precious late models reach HALF that height - let us know. Feel foolish yet?
