The USAC/ WoO doubleheader in Vegas sounds tempting, cheap flights from Denver
But I seem to recall people complaining about track conditions there...
Has it been good racing in the past?

I've only been once, which was last year (2016), but the racing was exceptional for both the non-wing and winged cars (borderline epic). Look it up on youtube.

Racing is good and track conditions have really improved since WRG took over the promotors hat and track work. Definetly a plus to have winged and nonwinged both nights. In the past they only had nonwinged one night. If you can get there cheap, I say go for it.

If good you mean tackey and fast no, I have only seen it that way once since they built it. However the races have all been really good with the traditional sprints, I would assume the wing cars are good too I just don't watch that. the dirt there is quite sandy. It's so big and wide guys find a way to pass, its an awesome facility right off the freeway. Have fun.

I've flown out there once to watch the outlaws and non-wing.... And would do it again.
