I'm not close enough to the west coast series to understand if this is a good thing or not. Is this series replacing another series or is it going to complete against another 360 series or is this brand new?

I'm going to make a guess which is just a guess because I have no information on the topic but my guess is that John Prentice pissed off the wrong person or people so they decided to start a 360 series as an alternative to the Prentice Motorsport Group owned Civil War Series. The PMG website is down which could mean absolutely nothing but perhaps they folded?

Opinion of 360/410 owner on West Coast- This is a competing series to Civil War. Prentice does a fine job and loves sprint car racing, however this has a strong possibilty to trump his Civil War series with the much larger purses and point fund that Prentice may not be able to afford or be willing to bring to the table.
David Abreu is a force and will make the new series work and be positive for the car owners.
The ideal circumstance would be if Civil War could afford to run on the open weekends at the other tracks with a similar purse. That's probably hoping for too much-

I also believe this will end up being a competing series. What I find interesting is the purse they have posted, along with the $500 bonus Kyle Larsen is offering, makes the winners share the same as the KWS 410 series. This 360 series is paying better than the weekly 410's at Chico. I applaud the backers for the series and hope nothing but the best for them. On a side note - while I'm not going to bet on the Civil War Series working together, how nice would it be for NorCal 360 racing to have this series, Taco Bravo Series and Civil War all working together and not scheduling any races on top of each other.
