The third and final round of the series took place at Auckland's Western Springs Speedway. The racing was delayed a day due to rain and took place on a Sunday night NZ time.
Racing consisted of 4 heats with all drivers racing 2 heats to decide grids for the 25 lap A-Main. The heats proved problematic for the American contingent with none aside from New Zealand champion Jonathan Allard qualifying in the top dozen grid slots. Allard would be the only American to factor in the battles at the front of the pack. Kraig Kinser the best of the rest coming through to a credible 9th place finish.
Allard would work through the locals and run down race leader Michael Pickens with a lap and a half to run. Pickens would inititally resist the charge but on the final corner Allard made a move stick to steal the win.
I've summarised the A-Main at Percy's NZ Speedway
