I am planning a trip to PA, NY, and Ontario in July. It appears the WoO and ASCOC are both in PA at the same time in July..... So, I guess I'm looking for opinions and guidance.... Ive already been to the grove and that's two of the 3 nights.

Wait until actual schedules are out

I suspect this might provoke another Port Royal vs. Lincoln pissing contest...

Ignore it, they're both OK!

Thanks for the input. I've been to port royal as well. Wasn't real impressed. It was fast for sure, but the racing was meh. May have just been an off night for the racing there.

Yep, fast tracks can be like that, but every race is different. Last time I went to Port, Lance DeWease made it interesting. I like the drive to Port tho, pretty country

Lincoln is smaller & probably more racy, most of the time. If you like small & racy, check out Path Valley, but I doubt if Outlaws or Allstars are racing there....USA midgets are great at Path

Not sure I understand this thread neither Port Or Lincoln have an All Star race in July so it has nothing to do with them,now that Marks is an Outlaw unless they join the All Stars none will go to Western Pa. for that swing and only a few go to New York so the All Stars will have to look elsewhere for support.;

You're right. hadn't seen any schedules when I mentioned Port & Lincoln

Thats why I said "Wait until actual schedules are out"

I apologize for being so vague in the OP. When I posted it, I had noticed the ASCoC and the WoO are both scheduled to be in PA on the same weekend in July. ASCoC in western PA and the WoO at WG. I have been to WG but none of the tracks that the ASCoC are going to be at that weekend. Are the western PA tracks worth the visit before heading to NY and Canada or just stick with WG?

If you can swing it hit Lernerville in Western PA for the Don Martin Silver Cup on Tues, 7/18, then head to WG for Summer Nats. Lernerville is worth the visit for sure and the Silver Cup is always a good race. WoO, some Posse, some All Stars, and maybe a few holdovers from Kings Royal who come over for the race.

If not head to WG and skip the All Stars in Western PA. PPMS is a huge 1/2 mile that produces high speed but little action. Also facility is meh at best. Summer Nats would be much better that weekend.

Do Ohio Speeweek with the All-Stars, many cars, interesting tracks and a great time.  Might be the 2nd best sprint racing week of the year....

It's definitely on the list to do one of these days...unfortunately. We are pretty locked in to the mentioned dates for 2017 due to work and such.
