Been a Lasoski fan since he drove Guy's 5 car.
With that being said, I'd have to say Madsen.

Cue someone saying "None [Enter favorite driver name]" in 3,2,1...
As far as your question, the answer I'd say is "yes." HaHa, really a ton of factors at play here, but any are suitable. If you're going WoO route then I'd say Saldana or Madsen bc they've been "on the tour" more recently than the Dude or the Crowd Pleaser.

Any of the 4 would help any owner out but of the 4 if it were me I would say Saldana. Seems to qualify well each night and is usually good for a handful of wins a season. If he were to say no then the other 3 would be close seconds. Probably would call Lasoski next then Madsen and Dollansky. No disrespect intended on the order, all 4 are very good drivers

I like Joey Saldana, but given the choice of those 4???? I'd pick The Mad Man, Kerry Madsen

Depends on your goals as a team. If you wanted to win Knoxville, I'd say Madsen gives you the best shot.
If you wanted to get top 5 in points, and win 5-10 races, I'd say Saldana.
Dollansky may be the most underrated driver in the game, but he's been off the tour for a while.
The Dude is 57 and outside of Knoxville, probably isn't the best choice to take on the road.

All 4 great drivers with the dude being the most accomplished, but I'd go with Saldana or the Madman.

With the dificulty in getting major sponsorships for car owners, there may soon be a time that some of these drivers who have simply in the past just showed up and drove, will need to bring financial backing to the table. The young drivers of the sport need to do it, and dont really drive for a split in the purse, or if some, very little. Until WoO gets a television deal, or another national series does, theres not much to sell to companies other than just supporting it because they like it. If they can get these races on TV, then you might find more people willing to be car owners, and the car owners can go after more substantial sponsorship deals. If I had to take one of those drivers, easy Saldana.

I think it would be interesting for someone to come up with a list of former Outlaw drivers who are racing locally. If all of the former WoO drivers who are still active were to all get back on the tour there would be a few dozen of them. Fact is what I think we don't hear is that a lot of them are working Monday through Friday and racing weekends and some mid week shows. Nobody is going to make much of a living racing part time.

I think you are correct with your thinking. There isnt enough money up for grabs to justify being on the road full time unless you can be in one of the true elite cars, and there are only a dozen in the country, 5 or so on the outlaw tour. This is to say a car that can stay out there regardless of the nightly winnings, but can make it on owner or sponsor backing alone.
