Definitely would have to say that Logan Schuchart and Shark Racing would have to be the most improved team on the outlaw tour this year. Amazing what those guys have done with the little resources they have. Goes to show what true grit and determination will do. In my honest opinion, I would love to see Logan get an top quality ride because he deserves it ( I know there are not many rides left on the outlaw tour ) or at least someone step up to the plate and dump some money into this team. Would love to see what this team could do with some financial backing.

While I understand what you're saying I think what most of us that are fans of his hope for is for him and Jacob to make it with their current team. To be honest it isn't even a TEAM per say. He is doing and has done what he has with his family.
Putting it in perspective his Grandfather has undertaken something with him and Jacob that few would even think about doing at their age let alone actually do and that's go racing 90+ times a year with the best in the world. You being a 70+ year old guy and your son and grandson are barely old enough to drink. All this and hoping like hell that you can somehow make it.
Honestly I think many of us that know the story would be alittle sad if that did happen. Even if Bobby 100% supported it. There is something just FUCKING AWESOME about making memories and becoming the underdog that isn't.
If you are unfamilar with the whole Shark racing story spend a few minutes and at least watch these videos.

I must say I never expected this team to turn the corner like it has. They got horsepower but Logan is running it in deep and it's sticking, so they found some things he likes. It's really impressive. And I think he's gonna start winning big races very soon. Whether it be for Shark racing or somewhere else.

The time together Jacob and Logan and their father and grandfather is priceless. They have shown desire and improvement to race at the toplevel which will make them even better. They in my opinion are two real racers and unlike the Nascar driver teams with everything are what racing is all about. The time I myself and son spent in gokarts ,mini sprints, stock cars and 360 & 410 sprint cars bring back memories that mean more to me than what I have accomplished in my real job.

Logan definitely had it going in Charlotte. A 2nd on Friday and a 5th on Saturday. Probably would have been better Saturday if not for losing some spots on a restart. But he is moving forward in a very stout field. Would like to see him at Susky for the finale.

I agree, some more and bigger sponsors would be nice but I really hope he stays in his car on the Shark team. They have proven they can get it done against the big boys, it should only get better next year.
Don't forget about Jacob in this deal, he has been driving (the second hand stuff) Logan gets the best stuff but Jacob has steadily improved. His first year with the Outlaws was only his 2nd year in a 410! And he might have had 3 seasons in a 358 before that. Honestly Jake has probably improved more than Logan he's just 4 to 5 years of experience behind Logan. Look out these next couple years, soon these guys will be battling each other for wins.

When I talked to some people in the know a few weeks back, they all agreed that they didn;t think Logan would leave even if the offers came up. That he is very attached to his roots and really deeply appreciates what Bobby has done for him and that they thought even it was a too good to be true deal that someone gave him, they didn;t think Logan would leave until Bobby decided to no longer race

Agreed. I'd like to see the Shark team stay together. More sponsorship $$ would be cool too...
Logan was Hard Charger at WoO Finals, from 14th to 5th.
I'm predicting 5 wins next year....

Seen Logan come up through from the local 358's and was impressed back then thinking one day he'd be amongst one of the best in the current veriosn of the 410's sport. I do have to say it definitely took a little longer than I thought it would and I even started to doubt what I thought about him years ago myself after he went winless the first couple years out on the tour with only a few bright spots of hope throughout. The second half of this season though things look to have gotten turned around and on the right track. I really would love to see him be super succesful in the family owned shark equipment (it reminds me of yesteryear when the guys did more with less!) but wouldn't be surprised to see him in one of the high dollar NASWOO teams really soon. if that day comes you will see a championship contender year in and year out (but that might have to wait till Schatzy retires?).

I'm with ya on the 5 wins next year. I'm thinking anywhere from 4 - 6. Good call there.

By the time Schatz retires, Schuhart will be in his mid 30's
Donny could make a better living than 98% of Americans just by running the month of month.
Sponsor help is the answer for Shark Racing. They're doing great with little backing. Throwing NASWOO money probably would actually hurt him. Don't upset the formula that works. He's become better by knowing that he can't afford to occasionally ball up a car. In a couple years, he'll be ready for a big time ride.
