After a quick and swift illness, George Fisher has passed away. Longtime mechanic with Dale Blaney and through his work with T122 Performance, George leaves behind a lasting impact on the sport of sprint car racing. May he R.I.P

Wow...just wow. Just heard word circulating like yesterday he was ill. Wow. Lasting impact is right. Man, tough year for Sprint Car Racing with deaths...BC, Krikke, Fisher...many others too I can't remember off top of my head.
Thanks for sharing Jay...though truth be told wish we didn't have to hear this news.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Fisher's passing. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks

One of the greatest minds in all of sprint car racing. He figured out ways to make sprint cars go really fast and he did it often without many accolades. Never met him but from what I've heard, he was a really good guy too. RIP George. You will be missed.

Don't forget Sarah's dad, Dave. He was one helluva shoe in the 80's and early 90's. The fans here in Ohio have been blessed to be able to witness this great family over the years. I give my thanks to them all.
