I applaud Tod Quiring for attempting to do something in the midwest to grow sprint car racing to something big and bold. Unfortunately, by the looks of the 2017 schedule at Jackson, looks like he's pulling the plug on this dream. Only 7 weekly shows for 410's, dropped the 360's, dropped the Saturday IMCA program and combined with the Friday partial sprint schedule and looking more and more like the NSL is no more. There is a 3 day WoO show in early June I'm marking on my calendar and a 2 day cheater's day for 410's on Labor Day weekend. I'm sure this is going to start a bunch of arguing as to what caused the cut back, looking forward to seeing all the chatter.

I can see switching to a 1 night show, dropping the stock car class maybe for BMS or something? For the life of me I don't understand the reason for dropping the 360s. They had a great car count in that class last year.

BMS is only running 9 weekly sprint car shows along w/the 5 specials (Silver Shootout, World of Outlaws, Gold Cup)
Stock cars only on Sunday's @ BMS probably will not bring many fans for those shows.

I'd place a small wager there's going to be an upper midwest ASCS region with Go Muddy involvement...but ASCS doesn't typically announce news until after the Chili Bowl.
