What was the highest finishing poistion in a points champion battle for a female sprint car racer in 2016 on the local level and in a sanctioning body? I saw Paige Polyiak race a couple times, but I'm not sure where she finished in points at the speedway formerly known as Husets.

Perhaps there's more ladies out there racing sprint cars than us guys realize. Maybe there's some potential there for an all ladies race? How 'bout during the Knoxville 360 Nationals. . . . .
Way off on a tangent....but..... as PC as NASCAR keeps trying to be, how far away are we from a transgender NASCAR racer? What would Larry the Cable Guy have to say about that?

Morgan Turpen has won five races this year with the USCS, 2nd in National points, and I think has won a few races outside the series.

Thanks Brandon, I was gonna mention Morgan. She's a gasser. Took some time off for school, right? I think she has a few ASCS Regional wins, maybe not this year, but years past.

Yes she did. She has a full time job as a teacher.
Not sure what next year holds for her.

More and more young women are taking part in racing (all forms) which is very good for the the health of motorsports. With motorsports eing a male dominated, mostly caucasion (white) sport, we need more diversity behind the wheel, in the grandstands, offials, and in the pit area working on cars.
Unless it's pointed out to me by an announcer that a driver is female I don't notice when they are out there racing (which is a good thing), they are all just drivers in my eyes. Putting labels on them (female, young lady) cheapens their participation in some eyes (some old school fans don't believe women should be in the pit area still) and they are viewed as a novelty.
The only drivers that shouldn't be out there are those that are a danger to themselves or others on the track. Luckily there aren't too many (male or female) that fall into that category.
