The third (I think) annual George "Ziggy" Snider Classic cranks up (with qualifying) at 4:00 pm at KC Raceway just off Interstate 5. Davey Hamilton's show ran the past two years at Irwindale, but wasn't able to run there this year. This is the furthest south they will come this year. It's a great show at a truly beautiful facility that attracts a lot of =very= fast cars (in the :14s on a long half mile) and drivers, some of whom we see on clay in the WC 360 and CRA series on occasion. Jake's brother Cody Swanson, Geoff Ensign, A. J. Russell, Davey and Anthony Pombo, Anthony Simone, Eric Humphries, Bobby Santos, Sierra Jackson, Dave Steele, Cody Gerhardt, Jason Blonde, Brian Gerster, Jimmy McCune, Jojo Helberg, and most of the Hamilton family are good possibilities, but the list is much, much longer this year. Based on previous experience, the show will be over by 8:00 or 8:30 pm, getting SoCals back over the hill before the witches get on their brooms.
