I will be shocked if this show doesn't do a final checkers before 11. Starting at 6 PM too. When Eldora has an oh shit like they did with the four crown, they step it up next time around. Certainly I'm not the one making the drive you would be, but this is an awesome show.
Where did they move Super Dirt Week to.....Rolling Wheels?
Nick, agreed buddy ... the double with Waynesfield's Harvest of Sprints was great.

Super Dirt Week was moved to Oswego, NY. They put dirt on the asphalt oval. The Outlaw part of Super Dirt Week was moved from Rolling Wheels to Fulton, NY.

I don't know about Eldora but I am liking your username, Brother. As I say, "Born Red, 'Nuff Said!" Valentine up in Cherry County in the Sand Hills to be exact. lol
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.

It should be interesting. I dont know how they can keep the dirt down for 300 laps. When they covered Rockford in dirt in June, they had to cut the sprint race from 40 to 30 laps and they were already down to the pavement.

Michael N, been a long time. The Eldora PPV has been the best quality of all the different ones I have viewed this year and that includes everything from announcers to camera work and production. Not sure about the phone deal but you won't be disappointed if you buy it in my opinion.....

Have any of you ordered the PPV from Eldora before? I was reading about the system requirements and can't figure out if I can cast to my chromecast from my samsung phone? It seems like it would work but I wanted to check with some of you first. Thanks for your help.

I watched the hot laps and qualifying for the Four Crown on my iphone 4, then switched to my laptoop when I got home with no issues.

I got a really nice reply from their tech support. Looks like it should work! Worst case scenario, I watch it on my computer.....
It *should* work using Chromecast. We've had other users have luck using that app (as well as the actual chromecast stick). Every once in a while, we do see an odd scenario where it won't work, but I'm thinking those times have more to do with the actual phone/tablet being used than the process of using chromecast.
One other thing I'll mention when using Android... some users have to go into their browser settings and select the 'Desktop Mode' checkmark in order to get video to play. Not always, but sometimes. Just depends on what version of Android you're running.
If you have trouble on the night of the event, they chat program will be open in the corner of your screen... just open a chat with our tech support team and they'll work with you to sort out any issues.
Thanks!

Well, let's be honest.....Syracuse usually had holes and dirt was like asphalt usually. Why Oswego?
What did you decide to do deicer? Always room for one morning at Eldora.
Is the hurricane going to affect SDW?

No sense for everyone to head to Fulton to watch it rain! Head west to Big E! 68 and sunny! They won't screw around either! Show will be in the books by 9:30!

That's awesome if its true. I'd love to see my favorite beer as a bigger sponsor in sprint car racing.

Will they really have actual racing at 6PM EST? Warm ups and time trials will be over? You guys might be right about getting out of there early.
- 4:30 PM
Hot Laps begin
- 6:00 PM
Racing begins

Impossible to hot lap over 100 cars and then time approx. 65 of them, all in 90 minutes. Logistical impossibility.

Dry, dry, dry slick. First heat winner during his interview, "it's dry slick not much to grab out there", only 20 more races left, arghhhh...hope it's not gonna be brutal but am already anticipating such.....
