I have been hearing rumors about checking tires for this race.How can you check tires when the only rule in the national rules that says left rear must durameter 35 or harder and the only rule on the right rear is it must be a racesaver plated tire.NO WHERE IN THE RULES DOES IT SAY THAT YOU CAN NOT TREAT OR ALTER THE TIRES.You can not enforce a rule that is not a rule.This is the kind of things that happens when you put a tire rule into effect in any division, 410 SPRINTS,LATE MODELS,SREET STOCKS ECT.
