This race was one of the best if not the best winged sprint races I ever saw.  I know the fast guys started up front, two sets of five heats made it hard to know who was qualified and where would they start, 4 car C-main when they should of just taged the rear of the B-main, etc, etc, etc.  BUT they had the show moving with very little down time between events and most important NEVER TOUCHED THE TRACK AT ALL during the races.  Wow an eastern track that did not pound down the cushion between races and produced fantastic racing with cars racing all over the place.  The three way battle between S. Smith, Dietrich, and Hodnet in traffic had people in our section actually jumping up out of their seats. I kind of wished it would have gone nonstop, Wolfe would not have broken, and McFadden would have stayed up on all four wheels, but thats racing.  Great crowd also, left as soon as feature was over and got out of parking lot fast and easy.  I and three others who were with me made the right decision to go to Lincoln!!!!  Way to go Fred Putney and the Kasey Kane Foundation!  Also cool seeing a lot of outsides come East for the event.

I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased to hear that they left the damn cushion alone. Central Pa tracks, especially Port Royal, actually ruin their track surfaces by Pounding the cushion down until it turns to dust. The Grove has been getting better lately. Nothing wrong with knocking it down a bit (when the track isn't widening out on its own) to widen the track out but there's no need to go out and smash it to the point where the moisture is sapped out of it and there's nothing left up top but crumbs like Port Royal does and like I've seen the other tracks do at times. I opted to go to Eldora and I can't say I regret it because it was a great show but knowing I missed such a great race at Lincoln kinda sucks. Wish I could be in two places at once.

Thanks for the clarification, Didn't want someone else getting credit for that incredibly witty nickname :/

You did it again Wizard, Area 51, Double Dutch, wow funny stuff, I can't believe you haven't been scooped up by Hollywood to write for A list comedians.

Don't worry as soon as someone who knows real talent reads one of your hilarious, knee slapping, outrageous zingers like Double Dutch, you will leave Horseheads behind for a life with the Stars, don't forget us when you hit the big time funny man!

Nope, you can't be talking about Matt Campbell, that young man needs some seat time but other than that he's a good shoe who has been fast in everything he's raced since go karts. He will get a 410 win in the next year or 2.

And the kid set fast time (13.18) in a star studded field of 48 cars 1st on the track with a 410 . Ran in 4 -5 almost the entire race until the red flap on lap 30 (?)  Was told tires never came back after cooling down and faded to 9th.  The wizz is just another bleacher creature starving for attention.  To get it he feels the need to take shots at almost every driver at one time or another.

Hey wizz, the drivers could care less what you think SmileSmileSmile  Don't be a key board coward go to the drivers trailers after the race and run your mouth.

What a tool you are !

It was for sure one of the best races of the year. The track was in great shape all night and the racing was as good as it gets. This event is becoming a must attend and just keeps getting bigger and better each year. I feel bad for anyone who missed this past Saturday night. Thank you to everyone involved in making this event happen.

Real selective memory there Wizz when its convenient.  You bring up No-use from 2 years ago but forget to mention Lance took the Campbell car out on the front stretch of the 1st Dirt Classic when Shaffer drove the car a few races.Look it up, Go watch the film funny man . That was hard racing,  the car hopped the cushion and bounced the right rear off the wall. A racing deal. Maybe Area51 needs to move to a better viewing area Smile

it is easy to spot the envious...just offer them a glimpse into reality and they lose their minds...

interlopers are turned away from Area 51 on the nightly basis...

does Matt Campbell need a video black out on his "constant state of correction" driving style or will the incidents speak for themselves?
