Jeremy I was expecting you to hammer somebody about the dirt classic qualifiers. That's all I heard about all year was that they were trying to grow the event and bring outsiders in to race. Sheldon racing 4 crown and nothing heard about Rico yet. And until yesterday, the only thing anyone heard about TMAC was when I created a post on hoseheads asking if he was coming. Which he did answer but it was in a member's only forum. My point is the promoting for these automatic qualifiers has been zero and if I was Kasey Kahne I'd be pissed. Love your articles and insight BTW. Keep up the good work.

Rico has a Truck Race Saturday. TMAC, TK, Lynton Jeffrey, Dave Blaney, James McFadden (in KKR car), and Balog are all coming according to the Dirt Calssic's official social media pages.

Also, the golden ticket from Attica went to Byron Reed as the top finishing local. The DC folks knew if an All Star driver won that they wouldn't make the trip, so they didn't offer it to Sheldon. I have no idea if Byron is planning to make the trip.
Signature here.

We asked Alan about it, and I thought his answer was good. I will, however, be addressing the issue this week in a column on PennLive. Thanks for the kind words, appreciate it.

Still wouldnt be surprised to see him come in.. Truck race starts early enough that he can get on a plane or whatever and be there by 7:30... Hes already qualified for the feature so he doesnt even have to show up for the heats

Thanks Jake b I didn't know they gave Reed the spot. And I think I did hear that he was coming? Not sure though. I just expected to hear more about the automatic qualifiers leading up to this weekend. Guess it is only Tuesday..

Yes that's what I and everyone else wants to see. I hope he shows up at 8:30, starts 24th and wins. He is one of only about 2 or 3 guys that could do it. The other two are racing cup and named Schatz

If they want to assure a B-main and full field for races like Selinsgrove they should just pay back $300 for 5 or 6 non qualifiers instead of just $600 to start.
If they want to assure they get full fields of cars with a chance of finishing on lead lap then they need to go to SOD tire rule and Doty wing angle rule.
They don't even know how to spell sprint car
much less chromoly...http://www.ycmco.com
