Usually, it seems like Knoxville has its schedule out right away after the Nationals. I have not seen anything this year. Does anyone know their plans?
It appears Badlands is going to all 3 sprint classes on Saturday. If that is the case, the competition for 360's just got tougher as well. Will Knoxville finally get some new cars built?
Also, anyone know what Jackson/NSL is going to do this next year?

It seems Knoxville's schedule usually drops sometime in the fall, closer to the banquet in November, actually. There's still races left on the 2016 schedule yet.

Let's hope they can all get on the same page, lick some wounds, bury the hatchet and come up with a schedule that benefits all three tracks, NSL, drivers, crews, owners and fans. Maybe Badlands moving all sprints to one Saturday show would give K-ville an opening to move it's sprint show to Sunday.
Not taking sides, but if the center of sprint car racing is in K-ville (by most anyone's standards it is), then ending the weekend in the general vacinity or where many, if not most of the cars haul from makes some sense logistically, financially to the those doing the hauling, fans, and to those putting up the money to provide the entertainment. The logistical advantages of the Jackson on Friday, Badlands on Saturday, K-Ville on Sunday makes sense to me. Imagine the car counts if there were a tri-track tour with a tri-track point fund.
Who is going to be the Tri-Track NSL Champ in 2017?
Thanx,

Not sure where you'll find it in print but I got the word on the Badlands all sprint car Saturday night in 2017 from a sprint car owner the night of the Gold Cup. Sounds pretty credible...305's, 360's and 410's.

Not sure how you think that's the best solution.... 99% of Knoxvilles cars and fans come from a 300 mile radius. 99%Badlands cars and fans come from 30 mile radius.
Knoxville has No Saturday competition thruout the summer. Sioux falls has endless things to do. Race tracks are failing all across the country. Huests was declining, yes. But still successful.(it was declining because of bad promotors.) It WAS successful because of Sunday nights.
Run a time efficient show on Sunday nights. (Be done by or before 10pm) and Badlands will get back to a full house. 95% of what their doing is great. It's the Saturday nights and pounding of the chest and canceling shows that's costing them.
Badlands biggest ? For next year, IMO. Will they get the WoO back for the regular show? Will they work it out for the gold cup? I think WRG proved BMS needs them more than they thought....
Guess we will have to wait n see what happens....

Absolutely agree!! Go back to Sunday nights, work with everyone and continue to do the great things for teams/drivers/ fans. Most race fans cannot afford to go 2 nights a weekend with families/ other activities/ etc. This area has supported Sunday nights for years, run a good efficient show and the cars and fans will be there.

Knox is not switching to Sunday nights period. I do want to know who switched nights first Jackson or Badlands? Was the night switch from both tracks a result of one changing first?

Dude seriously.
1. As mentioned earlier this summer. I had a previous name associated with my college email account years back and that is no longer
valid. Lost password. Lost email. New email. New name. Same person. Same sprint car fan. Get over it
2. Rocky is my main track.
3. I have not bashed Jackson and/or Knoxville any chance I get. i for sure haven't bashed Knoxville EVER
4. yes I have tried to be positive regarding the changes at badlands. Apparently that automatically makes a chuck sucker instead of just a sprint car fan that wants the tracks closest To me to work out I apologize for nothing
5. You bash badlands every chance you get Instead Of just promoting your favorite track You look Foolish
6. I think Jackson should go to a "larger 3/8th like Rocky, or small 4/10ths like I-80 and get new different Dirt. JMO
7. i predict the actual NSL series will not be here next season. Just a hunch.
8. I wish all 3 could work together as well...but at this point that hasn't happened, and if you think that is 100% chucks fault, then I disagree. (Please don't give us all the reasons you disagree with this point because weve all heard them 20 times)
9. I've heard rumors. (RUMORS) that Chuck and Tod have been talking. Maybe they are. Maybe they ain't. Hopefully they are.
10. I understand where everyone is upset about Saturday's or Sunday's. I still believe any track anywhere has better chance at "higher" car counts running on a Saturday. JMO.

Knoxville will not switch to sundays, why should they? There are very, very few cars that could ever, or would ever race 3 nights a week. The WOO do not normally race 3 days a week. It would be impossible for most area drivers. Most of these people have jobs for a living.

6. Did you make it to the Jackson Nationals? Sunday night was the best show I've seen there hands down. Both classes. The dirt is fine and we don't need amother 3/8ths track, they're a everywhere. I think it was demonstrated this year that with the right track prep the big half mile is very competitive with multiple lines.

Badlands will stay with Saturdays to get North Dakota cars, they will not come on Sundays.
Badlands and Knoxville proved they both will be fine running Saturday nights.
There is just not enough well financed teams to run a 3 per week night series.
Hopefully Chuck and Tod will come to terms and maybe Chuck could give 410's a few Saturdays off for NSL and Knoxville.

Higher purses were the best thing that happened.Knoxville will remain the Sprint Car Capitol,Badlands and Jackson have improved their facilities and the problem will be very few teams can afford to race more than twice a week.People with real jobs who make up more than 50% of the racers just dont have enough time or equiptment to compete at the level of the full time sponsered racers. The only series that is afforable is the RaceSaver.

If "they" can't afford to race more than twice a week, "they" aren't being paid enough. The teams that "can't afford" to run three nights ... don't have to, even if there are three nights available to them. Pay them to put on a show, give them a chance to make some money and they will race. If "they" don't, someone else will. If BLands isn't going to run sprint cars during the Sunday night show, why wouldn't somone else?
The "Sprint Car Capitol" ought to have B-main transfers on Championship night, in both 360 and 410's, no?
Personally, I love 305's, the racing is great. When they ran at Badlands with the USAC non winged 410s, the 305's were a second or two quicker, according to my phone! The non winged transponder times were shown on the big screens, like usual, but the 305's were either not using tansponders or if they were, the times were never shown.
Thanx,
Bruce
