Wife and I are going to the 4 Crown Nats for the first time. What time should I get there on Sat. to get a good parking spot? Don't want to park in the boonies since my wife can't walk that far. We are bringing chairs and don't mind sitting around for a couple of hours. We are staying in Greenville, so not a far drive. Thanks for any input, Bob

PS Also going to the Outlaw race Fri.

Hello, you can show up anytime and you should have no problem with parking or seats.Eldora holds alot of people. You might consider dropping your wife off at the gate while you park she won,t have to walk nearly as much. Have fun!

Depends on when they start the show.  Recent years they've been moving the fall shows up a hour or two.  Like hotlaps at four or five.   They ususally open the gates at least two hours before hotlaps. sometimes earlier.  Id say that as long as your at least a hour before hotlaps, you should be able to find a decent spot in the front lot in front of the grandstand.    I usually get up there about  2 and chat with other fans I know and meet some new ones,   Watch the haulers pull in and final track prep.  Which I do from anywhere.  You'll need to reserve a seat in the main grandstand if you haven't already.

Fri's show is two classes I think.  WoO and Eldora Stocks.
Saturday however is four classes,  Three which will potentially have over thirty.  All Stars, Champ and Sprints.  Midgets might not need a B main.   But Id say they'll probably start a bit earlier than normal for Saturday at least.  Suns down earlier and it gets colder earlier too.

Thanks, we have our tickets for both nights. If weather is nice we like to sit by the car and meet new people and chat. So, we will probably get there early afternoon. Just wanted to make sure we didn't have to get there before Noon or something.

Thanks again, Bob
