Kaepernick is taking a pretty stupid approach. There are a lot better ways to make a statement, like simply speaking his mind every once in a while when they interview him like Stewart does. I just don't get it.

He can stand or sit, one shows respect, the other shows stupidity.  His biggest error was blaming the police for 'the bodies in the street', paid leave etc.  When black on black murder EXCEEDS 90% his protest is woefully misdirected.  Maybe Minnesota will pick him up, they could use a QB now but I think his career is basically finished, moreso for his lack of ability than anything.  He sits on the bench for SF and gets cut half-way through the season, they want nothing to do with playing him and risking a 19 Million Dollar injury policy.....

Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Black Lives Matter  =  Racism

I don't know if it does but I do know there is no place for it on this board!

Take it down.

Stop with the persecution complex.

I don't think you're a racist because you are a white, Christian conservative.  However, I do think the fact that you are throwing around the N-word as casually as you are, suggests that you have a certain predilection towards people with a lack of melanin in their skin, yes.

As I said, rational and productive......

The problem with just speaking his mind once in a while is no one will notice.  This way he gets a reaction and there is a national conversation which follows.  What he is doing is almost uniquely American.  You can't do something like that a whole lot of places, which is what makes it such a conundrum.  I don't have a problem with it as long as his intentions are right and he continues to see through what he believes in.  The similar thing that happens is when a disenfranchised community riots so that their concerns are forced to be heard.  A simple protest like Kaepernick's is a lot less volatile.  I understand why it angers some people -- it's meant to.  But at least we're talking about it.

Seriously Stan, stop being a fucking tool. You can just as easily stand for what you believe in without acting like a stupid teenager who doesn't have any grasp of reality when it comes to how things work in the real world. Sad thing is, I think I know what you're getting at and I agree with you. Problem is, when you use words like the 'N' word, people will immediately not take a damn thing you say seriously and all you do is feed the narrative of the dickheads who want to kill whity. There's A LOT of good people in this world who's skin is much darker than mine. In fact, I worked with a black guy who was as good hearted as anyone you'll meet not to mention, he was probably the most relentless, hard worker I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He has a lovely wife and 2 children who are as well behaved and respectful as any young kids you'll ever meet. Everyone I've met from his family is the same way. He doesn't like this black lives matter bullshit anymore than we do. In fact, he hates it. He says that those "fucking thugs" as he called them in his own words, all need their asses kicked and they need to find a job instead of filling up the prisons and making all black people look bad. He's 100% on the money. If his kids used a white racial slur, he'd beat their asses. If you judge an entire race of people the same, you are an idiot. There are good and bad people of all ethnicities. I applaud Tony Stewart for feeding that disrespectful prick a little bit of truth. He lives in a country where a black man is president and black athletes can get paid entirely too much money to play a GAME. The white man isn't keeping anyone down. The thugs in the inner cities are being held down by their own leaders who make millions off of racism (Reverend Sharpton, Jesse Jackson)who do whatever it takes to keep them down so that they can blame white people for it and continue to make their money. Without racism, those guys don't have a job. If these people protesting even put half that effort into getting a job and getting our of the ghetto instead of blaming an entire race of people for their problems, they'd be so much better off.

Here is a simple example of being oppressed from a black's point of view.

You are driving a $100,000 dollar car get pulled over for doing say 46mph in 35mph speed zone. The officer walks up beside the car like any white driver you open the window with nothing to fear. Say hello to the officer, he says hello to you. Then asks do you know why I stopped you. You say I must of ????. Licence, registration. etc..

Now you are black driving same car get pulled over. Officer walks up beside car and you roll down the window. And the first question is not do you known why Is stopped you, but IS THIS YOUR CAR or where did you get the car.
