I-30 Speedway Alexander, AR
The 9th annual Stealth Recovery 360 Sprints Ralph Henson Memorial:
This annual event is held in honor of one of the Midsouth's racing legends, Mr Ralph Henson.
Ralph began his dirt racing career in the Bobo family Stock Car in 1962 after drag racing motorcycles for 5 years. Early in 1962, Ralph suffered a hand injury that left him unable to throttle his bike, and like a true racer, he adapted to the four wheeled racing scene. Taking the seat in a sprint car for the first time in 1965, Ralph went on to win multiple championships in Little Rock and West Memphis, Ar. Ralph competed all across the Midsouth amassing wins in Blytheville, Osceola, and venues across the delta. Ralph finally hung up the helmet at the age of 68.
